Chapter 1
by xeter
After coming home after work one bad night, and participating in some relaxing activities to which put you in a slumber throughout most of the night fortunately for you, since on that night a pair of universes collided purely by inevitable expansion and a wormhole was born for long enough to eject a powerful demon from another world which rapidly tried to survive by finding anything in this strange universe habitable, he too was fortunate as he found your sleeping form, and the energy of your brain attracted him allowing him to host inside your mind, I won't go into too many details, but some adjustments had to be made.
But next you knew the sun had rose and was piercing your sore eyelids even now, your mind rushing back to you and the nightmares you endured. One dark entity pervaded them all. 'Ocrim' it labeled itself as, and it hunted you through all his dreams that night. But after a brief period of calming and convincing yourself you were waking from a particularly further brutal trip on far too many substances than was healthy, your body understandably feels as numb as titanic blocks of concrete, mute to all but the greatest disturbance. And your mind was throbbing with an echoing **** of energy pounding into your skull from time to time, but fortunately it seemed that
Despite this you drag yourself up out of your hangover and sit up in bed, glancing at yourself in your dirty work uniform from the night before brings back some of the frustration buried inside you about your coworkers, and the struggles you had to endure. Particularly Alanah a bubbly blonde girl who is only 19 but is working her way up and is already bossing everyone around. Your anger grew towards her, if only you could vent your frustrations at her, but at work you must be professional. Nine the less the thought of taking your frustrations out on her grew to the forefront of your mind, all the ways you would show her the frustration she had caused you already. Which is why the sudden growing headache didn't seem too weird at first in your haze of hatred, but as the pain rapidly eclipsed any headache you had before and ended in a brief flash like a loud pop within your mind at the end of a firearm. You felt noticeably dizzy as the world slightly warped from the pain, but as soon as it came it was gone again, and you found your feet and strode into the bathroom directly to the mirror to see how bad last night really was to you.
Who are you and what is your career?
