After wandering the city like the lovely couple you are, you make your way back home. As soon as you arrive, you see your neighbour. Everyone in the neighbourhood knows him as “Old Bob”, it was derived from his actual name “Bob”, but he was old and acted as such, so people called him Old Bob. When people say he acts old, they mean it. He acts like a masculine man from the 1960’s, where the man would tell women what to do and clean while the man works and provides and comes home after work to get food, sex, and beer. Not necessarily in that order, mind you. Always thinks women should look picture perfect while he has let his belly go overboard.

As for your relationship with him, he is a typical neighbour. You go over there sometimes to borrow something and vice versa. Sometimes he says hi when you and Stacy are tanning in the garden. He yells your name to get attention, ”Matt, how are you!” You wait to get closer before you catch up. Stacy follows you to the neighbour and greets.

“So, are you looking forward to your holiday?”, he asks. You tell him that it’s been cancelled due to some outbreak of the pandemic. After telling your plan of just chilling during this holiday, he comes up with a great idea.

“Remember the trip I won to Qatar to watch all football games? My stay is in a five star hotel and I was allowed to bring someone else along. I don’t have anyone to bring along” You inquire as to what he is implying.

He says Stacy and you can join but you’d have to get an extra room and ticket. But essentially, he is giving away one plane ticket and tickets to see all football matches for one other person. All you’d have to do is pay for the missing parts.

He looks at Stacy and asks, “Have you ever been to the Middle-East, Stacy? It is very different than here!”, surely your boyfriend has shown you the world.

“Well actually, I have never left Europe.”, she blushes. “But I am very eager to learn more about the world, sir!”

“That is exactly the way I like to hear it, good girl!”, she blushes and thanks him for the compliment.

“Look, you won’t even have to book them yourselves. I’ll make sure that we get the same flight and room in the same hotel. I’ll just forward the bill to you.” This obviously makes it even easier.

You start to think about the proposition in the meantime. It is a really good deal considering you only have to buy one flight ticket instead of two and he takes care of it all for you. Besides, you get to watch football live. Should you go?
