Tome of Fantasies

The Grimoire Fantasia, also known as the Tome of Fantasies or simply put the “Sex Note”, is a magical notebook created by the Ecchikami, an offshoot of traditional sex gods and goddesses. These Ecchikami travel the multiverse validating their ships, or having their way with mortals that strike their fancy. Occasionally, in true Note fashion, one of them will drop their Grimoire where a mortal can find it out of boredom and take great pleasure in watching the ensuing erotic chaos.

There are certain rules regarding the use of the Grimoire, they are as follows:

1. The person whose full name is written in the Tome will perform a sexual act.
2. The writer must envision the target’s face as they are writing it down. This is to prevent the Grimoire from affecting multiple people of the same name.
3. Multiple names can be given within writing thirty seconds of each other. If successful, all the people whose names were given will perform sexual acts upon each other. If no other name is given within this time frame, the first target will perform a solo sex act.
4. Additional details of the sex act may be given within five minutes of writing the first target’s name. The person will be compelled to perform whatever acts are listed in the Tome, for whatever specified length of time.
5. If the same name is written down in two different Tomes, the first finished entry takes precedence.
6. Physical changes may be made to those whose names are written down in the Tome. The changes must be physically possible and must be attractive to the writer.

There is another unwritten rule: The Grimoire Fantasia cannot be made through direct or indirect action to make someone die. The Tome was made for the purpose of spreading sex, making its philosophical purpose twofold: for pleasure and for procreation. The causation of runs counter to its purpose to create life. Any sexual escapade that would cause a person to die whether through direct or indirect means will automatically not take hold in the Tome.

For example, if having a police officer or paramedic have sex with the owner would cause someone to die during a mugging or CPR, then the entry will not occur. Similarly, the Tome cannot be made to cause someone to die during a sex act, including Sweet or during Autoerotic Asphyxiation (although it is a legitimate sex act that can be made to happen to someone, they just can’t be allowed to out.).

Another unwritten rule is that when writing out a detailed escapade, it cannot be impossible for the target to pull off. For example, if you make an entry where a character has to show up someplace an hour ago, the entry will not take hold (That is unless the character is someone like the Doctor and has access to a TARDIS, even then the laws of Time and Causality still apply.). For another, if an entry requires a character to be somewhere, but they can’t physically leave the place where they’re at (they’re being held in a jail cell, for example) the entry won’t take hold.

Also, much like the same way Light couldn’t make a common criminal write down L’s true name, the Grimoire Fantasia cannot magically make people recall information that they do not possess in their memories. However, it can be used to modify existing memories by using information that the writer knows. For example, the owner knows that a person’s name is Rumpelstiltskin, but the target doesn’t. The owner could write down that the target knows that the person’s name is Rumpelstiltskin, thus planting that information into the target’s memories. This is a holdover from the Grimoire’s feature to give targets the skills and memories of owners in order to increase sexual prowess. The Grimoire Fantasia can also be used to wipe inconvenient information from the target’s memories, but this functions in much the same way as the brain suppresses traumatic memories. Anyone put under hypnosis or a similar mind state will be able to recall that information if they so choose.
