Thought Bender

The College Chronicles

Chapter 1 by SorenRousseau SorenRousseau

Eric Rogers, a twenty-year-old at the prestigious Fillmore University, found himself sitting on a sun-warmed, green bench nestled at the heart of the campus. A canvas of clear blue stretched out above him, punctuated by the fiery orb of the sun. The air was alive with the chatter of fellow students, the chirping of birds, and the faint aroma of a distant coffee kiosk.

Eric wasn't a standout student. He wasn't a sports star, a student body leader, or a prodigy. He was just Eric, until he stumbled upon an extraordinary ability. He could steer the thoughts and emotions of others, an ability that manifested during a fierce debate with his Philosophy professor, Dr. Patricia Winters.

Dr. Winters was a formidable woman, with fiery red hair cascading to her shoulders and matching her fierce intellect. Her age rested comfortably in the mid-forties, her maturity bringing a seductive edge to her stern personality. Beneath her stern, academic facade, there was a hint of mischief, a playful kinkiness that only those who knew her well could spot.

Eric's phone vibrated, pulling him from his thoughts. On the screen flashed two messages. The first was from Jennifer, a cheerleader who was a walking, talking embodiment of vitality. She was petite, but her vivacious personality gave her a towering presence. Her sunshine-yellow hair framed a cheerful face, but her azure eyes held a hint of sadness. Her figure was voluptuous, curves generously distributed in a manner that grabbed the attention of those around her. Her bosom was a prominent aspect of her allure, matching her effervescent personality in prominence. Jennifer had recently experienced a heartbreaking break-up and was seeking a friend's comforting presence.

The other message was from Dr. Winters, requesting a sudden meeting in her office. A potential opportunity for Eric to dive deeper into understanding his newfound ability under the guise of a philosophical discussion.

Eric now faced a choice. He could use his ability to alleviate Jennifer's emotional burden, offering her a fun evening. Or he could engage in a philosophical tête-à-tête with Dr. Winters, perhaps gaining further insight into his power.

So, what should Eric do?
