The world thickens

The internship Sam became a part of was one that someone could only dream of. Inventus was the world leader in advanced technology. Sam was granted an internship under Dr. Ling. Why was that such a big deal one might ask?

Dr. Ling was the modern worlds greatest inventor. Many articles have even stated that she is the greatest inventor of all time! She however, does not care for the titles or the prestige. She is an inventor and only cares about her inventions. As soon as she finishes one project she moves on to the next. Inventus funds her projects allowing her to invent to her hearts content.

What many people don't know is that for every successful invention Dr. Ling creates there are several failed inventions. These failed inventions are left in a scrap pile. Interns usually handle the scrap pile, moving it into storage in case Dr. Ling ever wants to tinker with them again. This was where Sam found it.

Sam found what appeared to be a phone. Turning it on, the only strange thing about it was it didn't seem to have any of the normal apps. No way to call, text, email, nothing. The app on the phone had a "W" as it's logo. Upon opening Sam notices it seems like a camera app. Wanting to see the quality of the Camera, Sam lifted it up and took a picture of Dr. Ling. There was a bright flash, causing Sam to be dazed a bit. Snapping out of it, Sam looked at Dr. Ling and was shocked! Dr. Ling had gotten thick!

Blinking several times Sam tried to shake off the daze. Unsure of what happened, Sam looked at the phone and back to Dr. Ling.
