The Workout Disk

Looking around the garage sale, they hadn't seen anything they wanted to buy just yet. That's not to say there wasn't any potential, but so far the stuff out front wasn't what they were looking for. They were deciding to check the inside of the garage when they heard some talking as they walked by.

"...really, he wasn't ugly, but we never figured how Uncle Joe always had a new beautiful girlfriend. He had a nice house, but he didn't have that much money," the middle aged woman selling everything said while gesturing to the upper middle class house behind all of the the stuff for sale to another woman her age.

Deciding they didn't really need any of the clothes or utensils from 'Uncle Joe', they looked around the inside of the three car garage that had no cars, but piles of stuff. It wasn't until they got to the back that they found the section with all of the CDs and DVDs.

Not that interested in movies or tv shoes, they started looking at the music stuff. There were a lot of CDs and DVDs of music that they already had at home that their parents collected, but they did find a couple ones they know they didn't have. It wasn't until they went through the last row of CDs until they noticed it looked like one of them had slipped underneath the last ten or so disks.

Lifting the CDs off showed the one that was underneath, a bizarre looking CD. It didn't look like anything they had seen before, but it didn't look homemade either. There was just the title at the top The Workout Disk and a picture of one muscular an arm pumping.

They were thinking of working out more any way, and the CD looked professional enough that it would probably be worth the five dollar price. Even if it was a bust and they didn't find anything worthwhile on it, it wasn't a huge loss.

Grabbing the surprise CD and the music they found, they headed over to the table set up at the bottom of the driveway. When they got close enough, the middle age man who was manning the cash drawer called out to them, "Find everything you were looking for?"

Lifting the hand not holding the CDs in a 'kinda' gesture they answered, "I guess. If found some music I was missing as well as this bizarre workout disk."

With an amused smiled the man waved to put the CDs down on the table so he could ring them up while saying, "Yeah that makes sense, Uncle Joe was always a kook, but still a good guy. Alright, three music CDs and one workout CD, that's going to be twenty dollars even."

Passing over a twenty from the small wad of money they had in your front pocket, they collected the paper bag with their CDs the man bagged and handed to them before walking off with a wave.

Stilling looking amused at the funny CD he saw, the man gave a half wave back before sitting down and reading the book that had preoccupied him before they came over. Walking to their house, they mused over what the strange CD with just the title The Workout Disk could contain.
