The Warriors: Armies of the Night

July 15, 1979

A few days have passed since the confrontation between the Warriors and the Rogues, as well as the of Cyrus. The former leader, Luther, had a fallout with the Rogues, allowing their new leader, Psychosis, to take over.

Meanwhile, back at Coney Island, Swan became the new warchief after Cleon's . Although Cleon and Fox are obviously dead, Ajax is still out there under custody of the police.

Yet, there are more gangs that had been present at the fateful meeting: the Baseball Vixens, close friends of the Baseball Furies, the South Beach Warlords, the Yorkville Razors, the Robbery Elite from Lower East Side, the Five Points Shamrocks, the Yellowjackets from Mill Basin, the Corporate Crooks from Old Town, the Soiled Doves of Jamaica, the Little Italy Bluebirds, the Kips Bay Flames, and the gangs that will play a significant role in this story along with the Warriors, the Sea Gate Crescent Moons and the Gamers.

The Sea Gate Crescent Moons apparently also had enemies of their own with the Warlords and the Corporate Crooks, especially after a fallout one year ago when Dr. Feelgood, the Warlords's leader, and Ripper and Marcie from the Corporate Crooks, had been making and selling cocaine illegally. The Crescent Moons had began to make plans to pursue both gangs, but knew they needed more gangs to seek trust with in order for them to help out. As for the Warriors, they were once again at odds with the Rogues and their new leader, as the Rogues were plotting .

However, today was the day of the burner contest hosted by Scopes, at SoHo in Manhattan.

Someday they won't let you, now you must agree
The times they are a telling and the changing isn't free
You read it in the tea leaves and the tracks are on TV
Beware the savage jaw in 1984

They'll split your pretty cranium and fill it full of air
They'll tell you that you're eighty and really you won't care
You'll be shooting up on everything, tomorrow's never there
Beware the savage jaw in 1984

At the mansion that belonged to the Crescent Moons's leader, Slattery, the dark-haired man in the purple pinstripe suit asked his wife, the blond beauty Delores, "Do you think we should deal with the Corporate Crooks first, or perhaps the Warlords? Or find some other gangs to team up with?"

"Well...I suppose we could use a few more allies. Even though we got Jake, Hoagie and Berlin as our main muscle, I'm afraid it's gonna take more than them to get past either the Crooks or the Warlords."

Five years ago, Slattery formed the Crescent Moons in order to make a name for himself. In 1978, he began to slowly recruit more members, and a year later, their daughter turned 18 and instantly became a Crescent Moon.

As for the muscle of the gang, Jake and Hoagie, both blonds, although Hoagie's hair was bleached, were sparring together, while their girls cheered them on. Although Jake's girl was unidentified, Hoagie's girl was Berlin, the brunette tomboy.

"And then there's Lisa." Slattery said.

Lisa was the plucky blond-haired daughter of Slattery and Delores, and having learned her skills as an artist at 12, has been laying burners around the neighborhood. The day she turned 18, she was given her opportunity to joint the Crescent Moons.

Unfortunately, she was kidnapped by Ripper and Marcie, both who were former Crescent Moons themselves, but she managed to escape Old Town and return to Sea Gate, and she officially became a new member of the Crescent Moons.

On the night the Warriors were invited to a similar burner contest, as part of a truce that was cut off by the Hi-Hats, Lisa and her friends were witnesses to the event, but did not participate in the fighting. The blond girl then aspired to be one of the best artists in New York.

As of now, Lisa was spraying a new burner at the back of the mansion.

"She said she'd bring her friends to the contest. She's really nervous, but really wants to show her stuff." Slattery added.

Lisa's friends were none other than Berlin, Angela and Amy. They began their friendship one year ago, and it solidified when she was the last of the Moons to join.

Angela was a sassy platinum blond beauty, and was in her penthouse drying her nails after having a shower. At the apartment complex where Berlin, Carabello, Amy, Hoagie and Jake lived, the sweet red-haired Amy had been making sure her Moons jacket was clean and spotless.

The dark-skinned Carabello, said to be the wheels of the gang, was escorting the girls to SoHo, although he wasn't bringing any of the vehicles that he was working on in the garage.

Back at the mansion, Lisa had finished her burner and went back inside. "Mom! Dad! I'm gonna get going now!" she said.

"Well, you better make it home when the contest is over. I don't want you violating your curfew." Slattery told her.

"Thanks!" Lisa replied, then went out the mansion to meet up with Angela, Amy, Berlin and Carabello.

At Coney Island, Rembrandt was given an invitation to the burner contest, and went to SoHo with Cochise, Cowboy and Vermin, allowing Swan and Snow to keep an eye on their turf.

All the best artists in almost every gang were told to make their presence at the contest, including Lisa and Rembrandt. Once they all arrived, the contest was set to begin.

However, within the shadows, was Psychosis, who was watching everything unfold before his eyes...
