The Sex-Battle Club

A progressive high school club

Chapter 1 by Matrix1463 Matrix1463

The unending stream of weeds and grasses continues to remind you of the end of your stable city life. Staring out the window of the U-Haul truck, you’re wondering how your life could pull a 180 so quickly, and how this guy next to you can still feel so happy go lucky about the whole thing.

There he goes, the cause of your current dilemma, just casually bopping his head to the incoming radio hits. Can’t he show some remorse for what’s he putting you through at least?

That guy, your Dad, noticing your expression from the corner of his eyes, turns to look at you with his emerald eyes and a slight smile tracing his lips,

“Think of it as a new experience, a new look life you know?”

Scoffing at his optimism “Eyes on the road Dad you’re driving” you say.

He chuckles “Never knew you to be so straight-laced”

With an exaggerated eye roll, you move your gaze form the window on to him, “And I never knew you to be so spontaneous” you retort.

Your Dad ruffles his hair as he mumbles to himself with a wry smile, “Should’ve seen that coming.” He says.

Your Dad’s expression says he wants to say something but his actions say nothing. Seeing that as your cue, you turn your attention back to the window.

It’s silence again in the U-Haul truck as your emerald eyes look to the window. Your pale arms planted on your navy blue jeans, acting as a pillar for your head. You take in the new sights of your new world of distant mountains and long-lasting greens, while the window shows the world your crestfallen expression.
