The Reunion of Severus and Lily

Silence echoed around him as he stared into Lily's eyes one last time, as everything faded around him, he could still feel the hard surface on his back and he accepted all of the pain and suffering that he had caused and he had been through, he just hoped that Harry would make the sacrifice that would defeat Voldemort once and for all. He accepted his and then he slowly realised something: he could still feel the hard surface on his back and slowly he opened his eyes in sheer confusion to see the ceiling of Hogwarts.

Snape slowly moved his head of the ground as he wondered about what had just happened, had he traveled back in time, had his body been moved to a different place, what had happened to him? He then realised that he wasn't alone and he noticed her standing there, Lily, the only person that he ever loved standing there in complete silence. Slowly Severus started to move and when he was only five feet away from her, he was thankful but at the same time saddened at the truth that Lily no longer cared about him and in his mind he thought, "Lily, please look at me." and then as if she had heard his thoughts, Lily elegantly turned to look at him and just as before Severus thought about Lily's smiled and she tenderly smiled at him.
