The Mandalorian: Keep the Helmet On
...but not much else
Chapter 1
by mburns
Din Djarin kept his blaser raised. His eyes darted around, peering through the narrow visor of his Beskar helmet. Around him, he was surrounded by a good 15 to 20 bounty hunters. Right in front of him sat Hyl Viz, the crime boss he was hired to capture.
The furry creature sitting in front of him laughed heartily. "Oh ho, now, that won't be necessary. Let's all set our weapons down, and talk this out like adults."
Din remained in his stance, unwavering. "I can bring you in warm, or I can bring you-" *thnk*. He was suddenly interrupted by a strike to the back, sending him crashing to the ground. His blaster clattered out of his hand. He slowly reached for it, but was immediately stopped by another strike. And another. And another. Every single bounty hunter relentlessly wailed on the Mandalorian. Dins sight went dark.
Dins view while waking up was still through his visor. He looked down and checked his body, breathing a sigh of relief. Thankfully, he still had his armor. He was glad he left Grogu on the Razor Crest for this mission. Looking around, Din took in his surroundings. He sat on the dirt floor of a small jail cell. No windows, but the hall was illuminated by a single orange light.
A clang on the bars. Din looked over to see a stocky guard facing him. "Hey, new guy. Time to strip."
Din looked perplexed. "I'm a Mandalorian. I can't remove my helmet."
The guard paused for a minute, then nodded. "Fine. But take off everything else."
Does Din comply?
