The Machine
The University Date Night
Chapter 1

Hey Y'all! Ill try to push out daily updates to this story! Please comment what you would like to see!
You and your girlfriend Cory have been together for two wonderful years. As third-year college students, the both of you managed to spend what little free time you had together. However, the sex life was unfulfilling. Sure, you could always eat her out, or try anal. But you had a myriad of niche fetishes that even the most sex-craving girlfriend would flinch at.
One of your fantasies was mind control. More specifically, personality change. Your girlfriend, ever loving, made fun of you for having such a base fantasy, but she nonetheless tried mimicking the vacant, detached expressions various camgirls made on the internet. Although she aspired to be an actor, it never seemed to cut it. Somehow, somewhere, it seemed ingenuine. Maybe the knowledge that her girlfriend was faking it was enough.
Being in college had its benefits though. You had access to the best supercomputers in the state, courtesy of the college, no less. This privilege enabled you to work on a secret project of yours, to finally experience your deepest fantasy.
Tonight was date night. You took Cory down multiple flights of stairs, wires, and hallways until you reached the rented office space you used for the machine.
"Sex at Uni? kinky!" Cory piped excitedly.
You shook your head. "Something even better." Grinning, you pulled her into an embrace.
When you walked in the two-roomed office space, metal grids suspending aluminum fans whirred to life. Dark Wires bolted to the floor fed electricity to the three elephant-sized computers in the left corner of the room. Two egg-shaped chairs stood in the center, both boasting leather armpads and a helmet with a teal-tinted visor. In the middle sat a laptop connected to multiple vertical monitors that hung securely above it all. The laptop flickered to life, prompting a login page.
"So what's all this?" she said, waving her hand at the egg-seats for emphasis.
"Its called... I don't know what to call it, actually," you said, "the thought never came to me."
"Well what does it do?"
"It's... a hypnosis thingy! It's very technically complicated, so its best if I guide you though using it," you instructed.
Guiding her to one of the seats, you secured her arms in place and strapped the electrode-helmet to her head. She giggled, squeezing the headrests while kicking her feet. The helmet lit up with a bright green, boasting to the room that it was connected to Cory. You glanced at your laptop. The program was ready.
What you had told Cory was a half truth. Yes, it saved a person's personality to a file. In theory, anyone's personality could be edited at a whim, into anything. However, there were potential physical side effects, depending on the personality being uploaded. In essence, it was both a mind and body editor. The hard part, though, was reversing the physical changes.
You had to explain to your professor how one night your best friend & test subject Michael suddenly gained four inches in height. Michael, the explanation went, always sat with a hunched back. The Machine fixed that. It was utter bullshit, of course, but the professor bought the story and shrugged it off.
The other downside to it was the induction phase. It required a long spiel to the hypnotized, in order to actually create changes. Combined with the placebo of a hypnosis session, it allowed the hypnotised to fill in blank spaces with their subconscious. That way, what was a 200-page induction script was reduced by 80%.
"Are you ready?" you asked, still a bit unsure if she fully wanted to do this.
She nodded. "Hypno away!" She chuckled at the corniness of this last phrase. You flicked the visor down and gave her an excited grin.
You selected the file you had prepared for this. When you clicked Start, the visor lit up, casting blue light all around the room.
