The Life

When Taboos Shatter

Chapter 1 by PapaBear PapaBear

It was time for him to venture back home. But what was truly home, was it a place or maybe even a time? How would one define it. But for him it was just a place with no meaning other than people who needed to learn lessons. And he was going to be the Professor.

At the age of 18 he had graduated high school and instead of enrolling in college as his mother had wanted instead he joined the military. When he left he was an overweight, bullied young man with no answers. Now here it was 12 years later and he was no longer the overweight, bullied, or even young man from before.

The man who stepped off the bus was confident, dark tanned, muscled, and had the look of a predator not prey. At 6'1" and 255 lbs. his body had achieved power and agility that allowed him to approach any situation with skills. His easy demeanor and sparkling smile made him someone you wanted to be friends with without appearing overbearing or put on.

As he took a seat on a park bench to wait for his ride he viewed the scenery in front of him. The town square had not changed much over the years maybe a new coat of paint here and there. It was obviously court day at the criminal building as every law enforcement vehicle that seemed to exist in the county was parked close by.

When he had left that many years ago everyone in his family except his father had cut off ties with him. And over those years from what is father informed, they did not care about his status or even his location. In fact it was only because his father had made arrangements to an outside law firm that was unknown to everyone except the two of them that he had learned why he needed to be here this day.

He was here not only to see his father laid to rest, but he was here to do things that his father had asked for him to do. Over the next few days life in this sleepy little town would change, as he became the new head of his family's household. And he would see to it that the family would not only progress in a new direction but he would also see to it that they would become closer knit and tighter than ever before. But if he truly knew the direction his life would take and the craziness that would follow,he might not have ever stepped off that bus.A familiar vehicle parked not 30 yd down the sidewalk from him in the only open space in the entire square.

A young ginger barely 18 stepped out cupping a hand over her eyes and scanned her surroundings. Her glance passed over him once with out stopping and came back a second time but after a third glance she stopped and looked back at him. She scrutinized him for what seemed like forever before slowly walking toward him. When a smile broke his face , She broke into a run jumping into his arms with enough effort to stop an elephant. A hint of Jasmine and honey broadness smile even more and the warmth he felt from the body wrapped around him felt almost sensual. He knew now what he had to do and he knew he was not going to take any enemies........
