The Legacy of Tyamet

Inside a dark alley, a young lizard girl smirked as the black flames that surrounded her hand died out. Brushing aside a few bangs of blue hair from her face, she glanced down at her magic book one last time before snapping it shut. The medallion she wore glimmered slightly in the dim light as she glanced up at the moonlight.

Her name is Tyamet, an escaped ****. Spending most of her childhood in bondage, she was bought by a vixen sorceress who needed a simple cleaning servant. During her cleaning, the lizard girl found the vixen's library of magic books. She would sneak in there at night, and learn spells. After two years of servitude, Tyamet turned against her owner, and destroyed her.

Now free, her goal was simple. The immortal firebirds, rulers of the planet, were the ones who enslaved her people. She would use her magic to steal their souls, and bend them to her will. Then, once their leader, Empress Shalia, was under her control, she would turn them all into slaves, just as they did to her own kind.

But first, she would need more followers. Not to mention more power. The handful of spells she learned from that book was but a fraction of what she would need. Tyamet knew of a couple of locations she could go.

The first was Fujiko City. Owned and operated by the panda race, this island-city was filled with casinos, hotels, and other resorts. But it was also run by the Yakaza, a crime syndicate. And their leader, Sota, was no pushover. However, he had a rather large collection of magic artifacts. Artifacts Tyamet could use to increase her power.

The lizard could also head into the heart of firebird territory, closer to the city of Belum-Dar. She wasn't strong enough to defeat Shalia, but that didn't mean she couldn't gain control of a few weak-willed firebirds. Having immortal slaves was a very tempting thought.
