The Chronicles of Red Monika
I’d like to thank Joe Madureira for the creation of Red Monika
Chapter 1

[Disclaimer]: The first 5 chapters are not written by me and Lucius. It is made by an author name ThormGavis who wrote a Red Monika story but stopped writing it for some time. I’d figured me and Lucius would continue it from where he left off but with our own story. We hope you enjoy.

Prologue: On the Run
The border of the Civil Territories has been behind Monika for a few days.
The red-haired beauty spat disdainfully at the thought of the kingdom whose name sounded so much like enlightened freedom and yet was ruled by King Vaneer with the iron fist of a ruthless despot. Some saw him as a great monarch and a hard, but just ruler. Monika's former lover and weapon companion, the legendary swordsman Garrison, also took this view. He had served Vaneer for many years in the elite unit of the Marshal Palace, but this seemed to have been an eternity ago. Since the **** of his beloved wife, whom Monika had always thought was a boring dame, the celebrated hero had become a run-down booze guzzler. Just a good week ago, Monika had met him in a cheap cashmere to recruit the fallen champion for a mission, but he had rejected her offer and preferred to continue drowning his grief in countless mugs of beer.
What a waste... Garrison had been so talented, a great fighter and quite a passable bed companion. Despite his depression, Monika would have liked to have had him with her when she left with some other mercenaries on behalf of a mysterious, unknown client to free the infamous pirate Ryon Del Soya from the floating Skyhold prison, a floating fortress that housed a colorful and dangerous group of prisoners. Maybe everything would have gone very differently if Garrison had accepted her offer. Monika had made Del Soya out of Skyhold, but she could not claim that everything had gone according to plan. Due to the stupidity and paranoia of the said pirate, the mana containment chamber had been blown into the air and Skyhold had fallen into a dangerous imbalance. A good dozen of the most notorious villains in the world had escaped and had started a campaign of **** against King Vaneer's capital. Red Monika would lie if she had claimed to feel a lot of pity for Vaneer. At first, she had even considered the development a stroke of luck, since the marshal paladins and regular troops of the kingdom would be so busy fighting and recapturing these super villains that no one would’ve persecuted Red Monika and her cronies.
But that had already ended her lucky streak. When she handed over Del Soya to her client, she found herself ambushed. Obviously, the whole thing had only been staged to create the chaos that had actually broken out. Her client wasn’t really interested in Del Soya. He ensured that Monika and her henchmen fell into the hands of a troop of Vaneer's men and immediately placed some evidence that pointed to the red-haired men's imagination as a mastermind behind the mass outbreak in Skyhold.
Bad luck. She had been tricked. It wasn't the first time they were betrayed, and certainly wouldn't have been the last time. But that was part and also a charm of the game she loved so much, and it would be a lie to claim that she had not yet taken advantage of anyone. On the contrary, moral concerns were not exactly part of Monika's character traits. The hedonistic adventurer had always been next to herself and did not give much to laws or loyalty. So she had once again saved her own skin by sacrificing her two remaining cronies like pawns in a chess game and playing her feminine advantages. With some difficulty and hardship, she escaped the delicate situation and has been on the run ever since.
Now two parties were after her. Her mysterious client probably wanted her dead to cover up any loose ends, as well as to perhaps portray himself as the avenger to the chaos. And of course, Vaneer’s henchmen were also looking for her. To top it off, if her two ex-henchmen, whom she had abandoned, had also escaped, they would certainly seek retribution from her.
The seductive mercenary had set some false leads and had eliminated some apprehenders before she left for south. The less capable hunters might be fooled by the red herrings, but the more dangerous persecutors were certainly on her heels.
Monika let out a weary sigh and her considerable bust, which seemed to mock gravity, raised and lowered slightly in her revealing, almost vice-fitting, red top, which did not cover her shoulders nor arms. The low-cut cleavage presented a good half of the two plump, perfectly round-shaped and enormously large breasts for their narrow body.
Red Monika paused on a small hill. The alluring bounty hunter stood up on a large boulder and looked backwards. She was by no means under the illusion that crossing the border increased her safety. For those such as her mysterious former-client, a line in a political map meant nothing to them. Even the strict, loyal Vaneer, who always insisted on the sovereignty and independence of his kingdom, would be all too happy to disregard borders and laws of other (especially weaker) neighboring states when he intended to assert his political goals and interests. The king was a cruel tyrant who would brutally suppress and punish all dissenters, so disrespecting the borders of the neighboring nations would be nothing to him.
Enemy of the state... Red Monika let this term melt on her tongue. The big breasted redhead had already been given some vicious, outrageous, and even mocking epithets, but "enemy of the state" did not sound so bad - especially if the term was born from an opposition to King Vaneer. Slowly, the hot adventurer wished that she had deliberately released the four super villains who had half-burned down Vaneer's capital.
The beautiful thief relaxed her long, slender legs and sank back into the saddle. She had not been able to discover any traces of persecutors, but the really dangerous hunters were probably able to conceal their own traces as well as Red Monika herself. She wondered who was chasing her. She knew many bounty hunters who worked in the Civilian Territories and the neighboring empires personally, after all, she herself belonged to this in demand and despised guild. It could be quite fun to be chased by an old companion... Her seductive red lips smiled at this.
Nevertheless, it would certainly not be fun if she were actually caught and returned to Vaneer or another client. Red Monika spurred her horse on to get moving again with a push of her high-heeled ankle boots into the flanks of the animal. The horse was covered with sweat and foam was already swelling out of its mouth. No wonder, after all, Monika had mercilessly driven the poor animal for days. In view of the undoubtedly numerous persecutors, she only had the chance to leave this area as quickly as possible.
The red-haired beauty wiped the sweat off her forehead. Usually, her filigree and athletic body did not tend to sweat, but the hot sun of the relentless southern lands was merciless to her incomparable body. On the horizon, she could already clearly see the shimmer of the sea. There on the coast lay the wild and lawless port city of Ordluhn, a melting pot of the peoples, which attracted smugglers, pirates, black magicians, murderers, **** traders, and other untrustworthy figures in particular.
Monika let out a grin. She had been there twice and liked this place. Certainly, it was a dangerous place, but she loved the nefarious aura and the endless possibilities, but above all else, the boundless and lawless freedom that prevailed in the city. There, she would certainly be able to book a passage to one of the city-states beyond the sea for the right price. Even Vaneer’s arm wasn’t enough to reach her there and even the most capable persecutors would find it very difficult to track her down from all the way there. Monika had heard so many stories about these strange and wild lands that she could well imagine staying there for a few years until grass had grown over the Skyhold matter in the civilian territories, which was when she could risk a return.
She probably couldn’t stay long in Ordluhn on the account of her pursuers. But she couldn’t help but want to enjoy this time. Immediately, the red-haired thief came up with numerous pleasures that she would get involved in, but shoved the hedonistic thoughts aside. She had yet to reach the lawless port city and she was aware of the dangers that could lurk in the wastelands, much less the greater dangers that were certainly lying in Ordluhn.
She tightened her narrow waist and pressed her buttocks into the saddle, the object of all men’s lustful desires, sitting firmly and upright as she spurred her steed to a higher speed. Monika fervently hoped that the half-dead animal would survive the inhospitable wasteland that still stood between her and Ordluhn. If she were lucky, it would collapse at the gate of the port city, which was a pity, since she would prefer that she could get a few coins for it. Either way, no huge loss on her part, since the horse was stolen from one of Vaneer’s guard officers that tried to seize her.
What’s Monika’s next stop?
