Chapter 1

"This is the one for you,” the old man assures you as he holds up a wood and gold pen. “Just what you need,” he insists gently as he presses the pen into your hand.

“I don’t think…” you stammer, wondering why you stopped into this old curios shop in the first place. You just had to get out of the house, you needed some time to think, after what you’d discovered in her car. You aren’t really listening to him, your mind being back at home, back in the garage, replaying the discovery that had shocked you to the core.
