The Changing Desires of Malleable Forms
(No Ai Used)
Four friends sat in the basement of an empty house. It was a dreary day, but even the dark clouds and rain outside couldn't match the gloomy depression felt inside of the house. The friends had known and been close with each other since the beginning of high school, but their time together was coming to a swift end. By the end of the week, they would all be off to seperate colleges, studying for their different majors, pursuing the next steps of their own lives.
They had decided to hang out one last time before they all set off on their own paths, but the storm outside had shut off the house's power. They had spent most of the night playing Mario Kart, but now with no electricity they made awkward small talk, each unwilling to mention or think about the fact that this would likely be the last time they were all in one place together.
In an attempt to break the ice, one friend had pulled out a board game he had found under a couch, unwittingly setting off a course of events that would ensure none would leave the same way they came.
