Television Jumper

You wake up after passing out for the fifth time this week from the intense pain in your head. This headache came out of nowhere and has left you house ridden because of its tendency to make you pass out in random places around your house. Luckily it seems to have made you pass out on your couch this time. No amount of Advil or Aspirin will ease the pain. It feels like a 18 wheeler ran over your head and than backed up all the way so they could see if they hit something. You've had to call out of work for the whole week and now your running low on funds and you're getting very close to losing your job. Life looks like it just decided to give up on you and move on to more important things.

Sighing in your semi depressed state you slowly start to move your hurting lazy self off your couch to make long treacherous walk to your bed so you can lay down and contemplate how much your life currently sucks before you end up passing out again from the pain. You still can't remember how this pain came about. You never drank to much , or played to many contact sports, and you never had the urge to bash your head into the wall, because you know, fuck it why not.

You live a healthy life at 21 years old. Standing at 6'2" your moderately built from your occasional visits to the gym and from deciding to walk to work instead of driving. Your job isn't to great but it gets you by and leaves you with some extra money to spare. You have little to no social life since graduating high school and currently have no plans to go to college because you didn't want to be in debt for the rest of your life.

Anyway, enough about your background you should already know everything there is to know about you. Finally getting to your feet after what should have been an easy job of getting off the couch , you start to make your way to your room. After rounding the corner of your table you feel a pain in your right foot and, realizing that you kicked the table, start to jump around on your left foot, making you dizzy because of your throbbing head and fall straight towards your TV. Realizing that this is probably how your going to die you close your eyes in preparation for the blow.

After holding your breath for a minute you open your eyes to see your falling through some weird portal thing. Assuming you died and feeling like your falling, you conclude your probably going to hell, where you'll spend the rest of your days getting tortured for all eternity, this contemplating has you so distracted you haven't even noticed that the pain in your head is slowly disappearing.

Looking down you see the ground approaching. You close your eyes and brace for the impact. You don't hit the ground hard, you actually very softly uninjured. Surprised at the painless landing, you open your eyes to check out your surroundings. Looking around yourself you can't help but feel that this place is familiar to you. Just where are you?
