Swamp of Fertility and Life

The Swamp of Fertility of life is a magical swamp that appears in various realities filled and brimming with life. Warping the area, it arrives in into a swamp with all creatures within will begin reproducing at accelerated rates and becoming more resilient than normal. Although it is easy to enter the swamp leaving is difficult if not outright impossible as it constantly shifts, expands, and changes even altering the perception and flow of time within the swamp. The bodies of those that are trapped within the swamp will alter and change often becoming some form of insect like creature. Though no matter how intelligent previously time spent in the Swamp will cause those changed to become simple minded broodmothers. That will endlessly birth and reproduce the creatures found in the swamp, allowing the swamp to spread consuming cities, towns, deserts, forests, oceans, and eventually the world.

When the Swamp of Fertility and life manifests in the world it has the appearance of a regular swamp. Upon close inspection the Swamp is protected by a mystical protective barrier. Which only allows women to enter until the first broodmother of that world is born. Once there are sufficient numbers of broodmothers and the Swamp can begin expanding the other broodmothers will seek out territory to make their own. Each claimed territory will hold the name of the broodmother, a descriptive of them, and what type of swamp they reside in.

If an individual or group does leave the initial point of arrival for the Swamp changed or not, they carry the Swamp with them wherever they go. Those who have left will not only continue to change at a much slower rate, but they can also still change others and influence the environment around them. Though as mentioned at a much slower rate than if they were inside the Swamp itself, in the end all that matters is the spreading and change caused by the Swamp.

When a world is consumed by the Swamp of Fertility and life it joins a massive network of worlds connected through the very Omniverse itself. Which allows broodmothers and lesser broodmothers to cross over to other universes and aid the Swamp in spreading to consume and change a new world.
