Star Wars: The Never Wars

A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away...

A shooting war ends.

A cold war begins.

The Galactic Empire consolidates power with a strange emperor from beyond the Unknown Regions of space. A warlord who came into the galaxy with blood and fire leading an army with a Sith Sorcerer at his beck and call. They have begun to call him the Emperor of All, worshiping him as a god. Many of the Sith fear that he is an unsettling **** in the powers of the galaxy, but they follow him all the same for he has strange power beyond any of the Sith.

The System's Republic rebuilds its armies after a long period of galactic peace. The armies of the Republic grew stagnant, complacent in the times of peace and were utterly unprepared for the war which came from beyond known space. The rebuilding of forces is hampered by a corrupt bureaucracy and soldiers who have long forgotten their skills in war. Now politicians scramble to get their parties behind them as the election of a new president of the Republic is hotly contested. The Jedi, long guardians of the peace, have been called upon to serve to hold the line against the Empire and are now split on whether to integrate into the Republic's armies or remain independent peace keepers.

Truly these are dark times for the galaxy, harkening back to the days of the Clone Wars or the Great Galactic War, the lives of many hang in the balance.

There is much mischief to be found in this untold time.
