Welcome to Elira, a thriving city-state that from a distance looks like a beautiful place to live. At least until you get to the gates, then you quickly understand that this place is a five tiered monarchy where your only upword mobility depends solely on how much the royal family likes you. This wouldn't be such a big deal had you not decided to touch the Queen's robe after playing with mud...when you were five. Imagine that, all you did was dirty one of her thousands of robes and the short series of events that followed you went from being a member of the three tiered nobodies to now sitting on the inside of the fifth tiered wall. That basically means if this castle is ever under attack you and your family are basically meat shields.

The good side of this is your family never blamed you, and over time after you became an adult they were able to curry favor with the queen, as long as you stayed at the bottom. After a very brief and tearful goodbye your family returned to their old life, and you....well....you're here.
