Sarah´s breeding

The fine line between hypnosis, roleplay and reality

Chapter 1 by John Breedy John Breedy

Some time ago, Sarah Florence met the perfect man. After spending some time in love and an accidental kid, she married that man with a dream of a white picket fence and the sounds of a dozen children running around the house. Ever since, she had tried for years with Larry to try to make things work with moderate success.

With their finances allowing them for a comfortable suburban home, she was close to achieving her dream, along with the promise of a much bigger house in the country. Life seemed good for the 30ish year old mom with the upstanding office job. Everything seemed like it was heading her way, and she felt blessed to be in such a position in comparison to her seven much more unfortunate sisters, who all ended up in bad living situations.

For a second, she thought of her younger sister Becky, who had started out so promisingly. A pretty girl, smart, with good grades. After getting involved with the wrong person, she now lived in a trailer park. 'Maybe I should reach out to her again and congratulate her on the birth of her son. Four babies in three years. Unbelievable...' the thought crossed her mind often.

Then, just as she thought she would continue her streak of good fortune, that fateful night changed Sarah forever. On a Monday evening, her husband was on a business trip for a week, and her daughter was staying with friends for two nights, so she picked up some groceries on the outskirts of town. It was a large supermarket in a slightly more expensive retirement neighborhood, where she felt most comfortable shopping.

After the shower, she dried her long blonde hair and blow-dried it until her luscious curls fell onto her shoulders. She tied her hair back in a loose ponytail, letting a few strands hang freely. She set her wallet and car keys aside and wanted to get dressed quickly. In the background, the TV in the bedroom was still on, showing a program about hypnosis.

'If you’re open to a suggestion at the right moment, a new thought can fundamentally change your life, either positively or negatively.' 'What nonsense “it would be funny if that actually worked”, she thought to herself as she put on her socks.

What should Sarah wear for buying groceries?
