Salvation of Humanity?

With the sudden obliteration of a strange comet over the pacific ocean few cared what would happen. Microscopic spores purposefully spread to major landmasses entering everywhere. Only when some humans discovered the spores a few months later did activate consuming all organic life that it came in contact with and spreading its strange carapace like structures over all inorganic structure.

Within minutes of Outbreak due to the density of its populations China, Japan and much of the eastern Asian countries were quickly consumed by the invaders. The entire western coast lines of the Americas were consumed greatly along the mountain ranges covering them and coming down the other sides. All the Islands within the area of the pacific ocean were instantaneously lost. Australia's coast line cities were consumed however, the hostile climate appeared to hinder the spread but not stop. Central America was completely lost. After the first day it stopped spreading. For two days the "creep" as it was named was silent then they came.

Then the mutations were created a fusion of all mobile life with the tenacity of plants it began to attack and spread over land. humanity launched all available nuclear weapons but that only accelerated it's growth. Fusion's from across the seas appeared. however humanity persevered greatly stopping the creep from spreading however at least 30% of the "Livable" land was consumed by the creep, and the mutations still tried to spread culminating in a stalemate for five years.

Research and scout teams have been sent into the creep with special gear no living being has returned so far. One team has been dispatched to the city formally known as Vancouver, B.C.. This is what they discovered or at least what recognized them.

Silence that is all it new. It awoke to something different, entities giving chase to four prey but dying. It was intrigued as it watched and recognized the prey. 'Humans clad in protective suits' was its thought and then it remembered that it was formally human, and chose to protect these prey. It would be human again. It began to bring them to it. It also began to listen to learn about them.

"Dammit, how do they know where we are," in a deep baritone the, large burly one growled out as he killed another of the small hunters.

"They appear to communicate either like ants or have a telepathic connection to each," breathlessly remarked the tall one the others were protecting. The small one beside nodded profusely and nearly fell as they ran.

The one with the large backpack with an antennae and satellite dish caught him, "Watch your step, don't want her highness to lose her assistant now do we," came a melodic voice from the backpack. The tall one looked at the one with the backpack but said nothing.

"We're gonna have to go into this building all other paths have been blocked by massive walls of creep" surprising it a fifth human called out from the entrance of its nest. It also smiled as the walls were its idea. This fifth human was small but also appeared to flicker in and out of focus and was easy to lose track of.

"Move it then and cover us," the burly one bellowed. The mirage simply shrugged and began to unload into the ranks of the pursuers as the others hustled inside. One hunter almost grabbed the assistant but stopped its movements toward the group and skittered back due the presence of it.

The tall one remarked, "Fascinating, they appear to be scared of this place," as all the waves of pursuers stopped simultaneously.

"Well then I guess we've earned a break, take five refuel and reload, afterwards we will search this building together, understood," barked the burly one. All nodded in the affirmative as the assistant sobbed itself to its knees muttering, "why me, why did she choose me, I'm unfit and...," the assistants mutterings inaudible as the tall one looked at it.

"Buck , I'm getting no readings of any spores within this room," called the tall one.

"Thank you, Proffesor Jane could you just let me know when you detect any. Until the EVA suits stay on" growled the burly Buck. With which Jane sighed and continued to look at the device it was using with her assistant John, as It had learned, hesitantly trailing behind.

It had also learned the name of the mirage one as Alice, and the one with the backpack was named Clara. It realized humans needed names and decided its name would be Dragoon.

The group explored the small two story building and as they did Dragoon learnt about them as it was apart of this particular building. the entire interior was covered with creep but this creep was Dragoon own untouched by the other entities. What had the humans called them as they rested, that's right they called them mutants, abominations, and unholy hell spawn. It took affront to all those names with the exception of mutant. From the moment that the humans Dragoon had begun to form it's own body to control to interact with these explorers. It realized the body was done and became excited letting a few ripples pass through the creep it controlled but surprising the group and so it settled down.

As they finished exploring the entirety of the building Buck looked at the professor and flatly stated, "let's test that out".

"Fine," the professor sighed, "at the very least we can test it without the horde overrunning us or destroying it," as the professor pulled out a small cylinder from the suit. Immediate danger warnings went off in Dragoon's head as the professor prepared to strike the ground and instantaneously Dragoon's body sprang from the creep and gripped the professors with a grip of steel, and with a voice that could freeze over hell stated flatly, "Don't you dare harm my home without my permission."

To the humans what appeared before them was beautiful, and horrifying. A naked creature black as midnight with no light, human in form with large DD-cup breasts and a soft 10 inch penis hanging between its legs. It appeared to be a being of perfection with the exception that it had large bat like wings and a large reptilian protruding from above its perfect ass. It's presence seemed to exude throughout the building and pressed down on the small team
