Quests of luck

Your name is Mallory, which ironically means, 'Unlucky'. You're an eight-teen year old girl with the tendency of getting into trouble. You're very accident prone and very, very unlucky. You have natural auburn hair, and green eyes. Your skin is tanned, but you have freckles. Regardless of being a total klutz, you are still quite smart and very pretty. Your friends joke about how if your life was on the line of a coin toss, you'd be better off jumping off a cliff. But, you wouldn't need to jump since you're such a klutz, you'd probably just tumble off on your firm rump. Some friends.

You wake up early one morning, ready to take on the world. You were sick of all this bad luck and wanted to get rid of it. Earlier this week, you met a mage who told you about a lucky gem that was found deep inside of a cave somewhere in the vast forests of some remote island. The island wasn't -that- far away from your home and silly you wanted to try to get this lucky gem. You told your best friend Tiffany about it, but she told you not to go. You fought with her about it until she finally decided to let you go. Now, today is the day of the big trip, and you will be boarding a fishing ship who agreed to drop you off at the island. They also agreed to pick you up in one week.

Your goal is simple, get ready for the trip, you have everything packed already, but making sure everything is ready wouldn't hurt.
