Power

For 23 years, Chris was a normal person. He was fairly smart, but not a genius, kind of tall but not a giant. He was a perfectly average guy. Except from one thing, Chris kept having these really strong dreams, a man was talking to him, “Soon you will have power equaled only by your imagination,” this man said, only he wasn't really a man. He was something bigger, something more important.

Chris was single, lived in a small apartment, and worked at an unnamed upper class restaurant in Boston. His parents only live a few miles away. Chris had a hard time keeping friends around, but seemed to have better luck with female friends.

On Chris's 23rd birthday, he woke from the same dream he had every night now. He got dressed, wandered down stairs, and poured himself some cardboard-tasting cereal and fantasized about having the one thing he always wanted: his dream car, an Apollo Gumpert, a hardcore super-car that is one of the most beautiful features ever designed for the road. At least by Chris's reckoning.

Chris grabbed his bag and keys to go and begin his mindless drain of a workday. But as he reached the front door, he stopped in shock. His crappy Ford was gone and sitting in his driveway was a thing of pure beauty, an Apollo Gumpert.

Suddenly it hit him. The dream was a message! Chris now has the power to warp reality!
