To combat this pressing issue, the State of California has launched a bold new rehabilitation program. Under the "Contentment Under Cohabitation Initiative," or CUCI, thousands of inmates exhibiting good behavior are being rehoused in suburban communities across the state.

Compulsory enrolment in the program is decided by a qualified team of experts, who consider all factors before placing an inmate in a home. Key factors include various financial considerations, the absence of minors, and the presence of good role models--Polite, hard-working Californians, who can help ease our convicts back into the warm embrace of society.
