Our First Hug

We had only known each other for a short time, and I remember that we had gone for one of our first walks together on the cliffs. It must have been mid to late afternoon, because I remember it was still sunny outside, must have been March since our first kiss came soon after.

We had a really good time sitting and talking. I remember sitting on the edge of the sandstone cliffs with you, looking out at the water and the waves. The air was warm, but not hot, and it was very quiet. We say close to together, I was to your right. We weren't sitting close enough to touch, but i'm sure we both wanted to. The sandstone was warm and pretty comfortable to sit on.

We talked about our families, why were were at PLNC, and other things for a couple of hours. We didn't have much time, but it was special. There was no where else I would rather have been! Your eyes were so green, your skin so smooth and beautiful, and you were so full of life. I remember that you always seemed like you were excited and full of joy, it was awesome being around you . . .

As we walk back up toward the dorms, our hands brush . .
