My Girlfriend the Leprechaun Genie

My Girlfriend the Leprechaun Genie

Talk about the Luck of the Irish!

Chapter 1 by CelebMaster69 CelebMaster69

My name is Max. I'm 21, an intern at a local law firm, and living with my stepmom in the lavish apartment my dad left for us...well, her, technically, since I wasn't old enough to inherit it when he passed.

And this is the story of how I turned my girlfriend into a leprechaun genie.

I was walking through the woods near his house on March 17th when I spotted something odd. At first it looked like a realistic leprechaun statue posed on a tree

But then it moved. Before I could approach it, the leprechaun was attacked by a stray dog. I sprang into action and grabbed a tree branch and drove off the dog before it could do any serious damage to the Leprechaun.

The the Leprechaun got up, dusted itself off and put its hat back on. "Why, thank ya, laddie."

"Are you really a Leprechaun?"

"Of course! Do you think goblins look like this?"

"What are you doing here?"

"A vacation. A few hundred years on the isle gets a bit old. I've seen every square foot of ol' Erin."

"Makes sense."

"And since you saved my life, I'd honor bound to reward ya." The Leprechaun took something out of his pocket and flipped it to me. looked at it. It was a gold four-leaf clover.

"Tis a wishin' charm," said the Leprechaun. "You grip it in your right hand and make a wish."

"Any wish?"

"Don't be daft, lad. You can't wish for the sun to explode or the mountains turn into butterflies, but smaller stuff about you or people or smaller objects."

"Any unintended consequences?"

"Depends on how careless you are then."

I gripped the charm in his right hand. "I wish all of my wishes turn out exactly as I want them to."

"Now that's the smartest wish I've ever heard, and I've heard a few. Now, if you give me my leave...or even if ya don't, I'll take it." The Leprechaun winked tipped his hat, clicked his heels and vanished.

I then realized I could very easily lose the charm. It was small and I had trouble just keeping loose change in my pockets. So I made a wish which would change the course of my life forever.

"I wish Hailey had the power of this clover transferred to her."

A bright gold light flashed and the clover vanished from my hand.

I should probably explain who Hailey is. She's my girlfriend. We've been together since high school, and she works, or worked (more on that later) as a barista at a coffee shop. She's also of Irish descent on her dad's side, hence why I thought it would be fun to transfer the clover's powers to her.

I was not ready for what happened next.

I drove to her house, eager to see what had changed, if anything, only to be greeted by, well, this:

"Top o' the mornin' to ye, me love," Hailey said, her voice a thick but sexy Irish brogue. "Happy St Patty's Day!"

She must have seen the look on my face. "What? This is what ya wished for ain't it?"

"You know about my wish?" I asked.

"O' course I do," Hailey said. "Ya saved a leprechaun in the woods and he gave ya a golden clover that can grant wishes. Ya didn't wanna lose the clover so ya made a wish to transfer its power ta me. That's what the clover told me, anyway."

She indicated to a small golden clover on her shirt.

"Now as long as I stay with ya, ya should be able ta make all the wishes yer perverted little heart desires."

"But what's with the getup?" I asked.

"Oh, that seemed to be a side effect of the clover," she shrugged. "I'm sure I can use me new magic to conjure up a better outfit."

"No, keep it," I said. "I like the look of a leprechaun genie."

She tipped her hat. "I thank ye kindly, me love. Now, what wish shall I grant for ye?"

What was my first wish?
