My Disney Dream

My parents always told me I was different from most other boys. I had lovely wavy blonde hair and sparkling blue eyes. I had the smoothest and fairest skin that most people would mistake me for a girl, much to my parents’ chagrin.

Nevertheless, I didn’t care about how people saw me. I got good grades in school, I had a good home and I had loving parents who supported me no matter what. However, I had a special secret that no one knows about.

I had a gown fetish!

Ever since I was little, I’ve been a big fan of big, poofy ballgowns; the kind princesses would wear or the clothes you would find in some fantasy period drama. I often imagined I was wearing a beautiful ballgown and wished I had a closet full of them.

My favorite was Giselle from Disney’s Enchanted. She wore the best and largest wedding gown ever. I wish that I could wear such a gown. Sadly, that would never be until one day. I was just an ordinary teen living in my apartment, killing time. I sighed as I laid down on my sofa, just another boring day for me.

*Ding Dong!!*

Before I could answer, the doorbell rang. “Delivery!” A voice called out. I grew confused, I didn’t remember ordering anything. I got out from my sofa and approached the door. When I opened it, there was no one there except for a strange, decent-sized box at my feet.

I was surprised, who left this in my house and why was it addressed to me? Taking the box inside, I closed the door and sat down on my bed. As I opened the box, I took out a large book entitled “The World of Disney Princesses.”

My eyes widened with delight. “Where did this come from?” I murmured to myself. I opened the book; it had every Disney Princess story inside from Snow White to Enchanted. All of my favorite princess stories in one book!

As I flipped through the book, there were all sorts of pictures of various Disney Princesses; Snow White, Belle, Jasmine and so on. I stopped at a picture of Giselle, wearing her big, beautiful wedding gown.
