Mom Possessed by a Doll

"Mom, I'm Home", Chris said as he walked into the living room.

He was surprised that his mom Kathy wasn't in the house, she would always walk into the living room to welcome him home from school, Chris Banning was 18-years-old, He was 5'8, short brown hair, hazel eyes, he was wearing under-wear, Capri shorts, shirt, socks, shoes, His mom Kathy Banning was 63-years-old, she was 5'8, long wavy blonde hair, blue eyes, She and her husband (he was Chris's father) had divorced when Chris was 1-year-old, Kathy had to work as a waitress to make ends meet for herself and for Chris.

Now His Mom was Missing, He started looking all over the house for her, until he remembered the attic, He opened the door, that lead to the upstairs, he walked up the stairs, he opened the attic door that was at the top of the stairs, He walked through the doorway, and started searching for his mom, Until he saw her a few feet away from him, she was sitting in a rocking chair by the far attic window, and was rocking back and forth softly, Chris started walking toward her.

"Mom, what are you doing up here, why didn't you answer me when I called you?", Chris asked.

But Kathy didn't answer him, she didn't even notice that he was there, she continued rocking back and forth in the rocking chair softly, she started humming Braham's Lullaby, Chris noticed there was something or someone that Kathy was holding in her arms, He started taking a look at it, he was surprised that it was a doll named Annabelle, she was looking up at Kathy, Chris looked up at his mom, he was stunned that she was in a hypnotic trance, she continued rocking back and forth and humming the lullaby.

"Mom, you need to snap out of it, put the doll down, and let's go down from the attic", Chris said.

"No, I have to stay here, she needs me, she needs me, I have to stay with her", Kathy replied in a monotone voice.

Chris decided that he was going to need some help, he walked away from his mom, not knowing that the doll Annabelle was smiling, Chris walked down the stairs, not knowing that the attic door that was at the top of the stairs had closed behind him, Chris went back in the house, he made dinner, he didn't bother to get his mom, He know that she would come to her senses and come down from the attic, he ate dinner, watched some TV, and went to bed.

The Next Morning when Chris woke up, he had done his business in the bathroom, he looked into his mom's master bedroom, and was surprised to find that his mom's master bed hadn't been slept in, He quickly went up to the attic, and was surprised that his mom wasn't sitting in the rocking chair, Chris started frantically searching for his mom, he looked for her all over the house, until he saw a note that was on the fridge, it was from Kathy's handwriting.

"Chris,

I'm leaving, I'm taking my friend with me,

we're going to live somewhere else,

where we can be together forever".

Chris realized that his mom had just been kidnapped by the Demonic Doll Annabelle.
