Mimir's well
The leak machine
Chapter 1
by Pingu
It had been years but finally Numbers Inc. one of the world's biggest tech companies finally had brought its new Mimir supercomputer online. Connected to every database imaginable, it was the backbone for the company's products from search engines to online storage and everything else you could imagine. Within weeks everyone had moved their services and data to the Mimir system, more and more databases had been connected to its core.
Mike had recently started to work for Numbers Inc. as a programmer. While he was working on some new projects, he one day stumbled over an old comment, which said "Huginn and Muninn show you the way to the well. Use the hammer to follow them."
The note did not make sense. Hammer was one of the internal pages, used to get access to some deep-level systems of Mimir. Then Mike wondered something. He looked for an empty office, in a corner of the building rarely people came. Then he opened the Hammer login page and typed the two words into the username and password fields. Then he hit enter and suddenly the screen went blue for a second.
"Welcome," Mike read on the screen. "The ravens led you to Mimir's well. Drink and gain wisdom." The message was as cryptic as the one which had brought him here. He typed something into the search bar, which was located in the middle of the page, and was surprised as almost instantly results appeared. On a very brief glance, they looked like their big search engine's results, but on a second one, they were much more detailed and even picked more informative for Mike.
"Is this a new search engine?" he wondered and typed something in the search itself. A moment later he received a response. "Mimir's well is the ultimate search engine. It is powered by the Eyeball artificial intelligence and has access to all resources available on the internet. Please state your search."
After thinking about if for a while, he decided to give it a try. Something made him feel he would be in trouble if someone found out he was on this page. But then he decided that he wanted to test what it could. He typed the name of one of his favorite celebs into the search and hit enter.
While checking the results, Mike noticed a button called "Media" and when he clicked on it, he found himself in a lot of red carpet videos and pictures of Emma Stone, who he had searched for. He scrolled around and wondered where they got so many different videos. Then just for fun, he typed "NSFW" into the search bar, and instantly the results got more detailed.
[SECURITYCAM] Emma Stone and Taylor Swift - Easy A Premiere
The entry caught his attention and he started the video. It was taken by a security cam and he almost spits his drink onto the screen as it started. It showed Emma Stone and Taylor Swift, obviously backstage at the Easy A premiere. Both women were making out with each other, their hands all over each other's bodies. Then Mike watched how Taylor Swift went on her knees and pushed Emma's dress up.
"Fuck," he mumbled as he kept watching how Emma Stone was eaten out by the singer. "Who saved such a video and makes it accessible via a search engine?" Then it clicked. The search engine was never imagined to be part of the public frontend.
After a while, and enjoying some more naughty videos of Emma, Mike knew what he could do with this. Every celeb probably had some leaks and if they existed, they are probably known by this engine by now.
What does he searchs first?
