Midnight Swim

Here it is, you're freedom is coming to an end as you are about a week away from starting senior year in high school. You are dreading the beginning of the school year, and want to do as much as you can in your final free days. It is almost midnight and you are sitting at your computer trying to figure out what you want to do over the next few days when a instant message pops up on your screen. It is from Sandy, your best friend from childhood.

After exchanging pleasentries, she sends the following message:

"Thinking about going to the forest for a swim, you want to come?"

You and she used to go up into the forest at night to a little pond that you both knew about off the trail to swim. It had been almost a year since the last time you went though, this summer had just been too busy for both of you. You jump on the chance and tell her that you will meet her at the head of the trail in about half an hour. She signs off and you get up from your computer trying to figure out what you need to do to get ready.
