Meteoric Changes

It came from space

You are standing in an empty white room. The whiteness goes on in every direction forever, or so it seems since you can't really tell where the floor meets the walls or where the walls meet the ceiling. You look around you for a few more moments. The moment you have resigned yourself to being trapped in this empty void, a...well the only word for it is screen...appears in front of you. It seems to float in mid-air, but, considering your surroundings, it may simply be attached to a support that is the same color as the room. The screen seems to be displaying some text. Stepping closer to the screen, you can now see that it is asking you several questions. You reach towards the screen as if to assure yourself that it is real. The instant your fingers make contact, you hear a voice.

"Welcome. Please enter your answers to the following questions in the spaces provided on the screen. You may either type your answers directly on-screen or speak your answers. Please answer the first question now to continue."

Feeling a bit bewildered, you start to type your answers on the screen. The first question is asking your gender. It seems to have some sort of drop down menu attached to it. When you touch the menu, it opens to reveal several choices.
