Melissa Degraded

Chapter 1 by phxnobsdn phxnobsdn

The lottery commissioner hands you your check as light bulbs flash in your face. You look down at the big cardboard presentation piece and shake your head, still unable to believe the number written on it. The commissioner asks you, "So John, how you are going to spend THREE HUNDRED MILLION DOLLARS?"

You reply numbly, "I'm going to do all the things I could never do before!"

A few months later, the dust has settled from your big lottery win. Your dream house is built, you've bought a few sports cars and such, and have pretty much been living like a rock star. But one thought keeps eating at the back of your mind.

Melissa. The girl from your high school English class, the one you sat behind and fantasized about day after day. A petite blond with brains and a body to die for. Oh, she'd been nice enough to you, always smiling that pleasant little smile that told you she was too good for you. Always dressed so conservatively, so stuffy. You wanted so badly to grab that perfectly-styled hair and shove her over her desk, throw that skirt over her head and show her just what she was missing.

You hadn't seen her since you both graduated years ago, and of course the infatuation had faded into the background. Until that day, a couple of months before you bought the winning lottery ticket, when you bumped into her at the mall. She didn't recognize you at first, so you introduced yourself, only to get that familiar condescending smile. She was in a hurry, she said, but it was so good to see you again. Sure, it was. You watched her walk away with her nose in the air and felt that same urge you had felt as a hormone-swollen teenager, to take her, violate her, her, and make her like it. Unfortunately, you wound up doing exactly what you did with those fantasies so long ago. You went home and beat off feverishly with those images in your mind.

But now, fate had handed you an opportunity, and you had a plan. You hired a private detective a few weeks ago to secretly find out everything about Melissa. And what he came back with was perfect. She was married to a preacher, formerly of a large church but recently dismissed after a scandal involving missing church funds. They had separated shortly thereafter, with divorce proceedings pending, and Melissa was trying desperately to find a way to keep their fantastically expensive house for herself. It wasn't going well, though, because she wasn't willing to demean herself by actually finding a job. Just how bad does she want to keep that house, you wonder. Only one way to find out...
