Mazes and mazes, oh my

Chapter 1 by GenandherPet GenandherPet

You are sitting at a magic show. A simple show with rabbits and hats, scarves and tricks. It is placed on a wooden stage with a red satin curtain. The man of the hour is a pasty man with a black mustache that extended a few inches. He wore a black and white tux that was crinkled. His shoes were of tennis shoes. His eyes are beady. Black. He is not the entertainer he needs to be. The microphone that he is using is accenting his crackly voice.

You only came to this stupid show because you were dragged here. You didn't even want to do anything with this.

Far too cheap for a decent show. The only thing on the stage is his name in glitter and a few tables. Not many lights. Not many things to look at. And he... he is far too interested in cards, you think. Very boring. The seats are made of black plastic with red crushed velvet material on them. Far too boring for you to really care so what do you do? You nod off...

At first it was a simple little nap. Nothing more then that. Second time it was much... much worse...

You don't listen to what he is saying. Even if it may very well be directed to you. Even if it may save you later.

After a few minutes you 'wake' up in an small park that is surrounded in a fence that are covered in vines. Brick fences. walls that span about 15 feet high. there is no way to climb over it. And you probably can not dig underneath.

The sky is blue. The weather is decently warm. The grass is soft and green. There doesn't seem to be any immediate danger to your physical status or emotional status. No reason to panic. Of coarse there is only two gates.

One to the left which had a lion's head made of iron mounted on it. The other, which obviously was to the right, was mounted with a lamb's head.

Both obviously mean something. Both would lead to two far different paths.

But the question is...

Left or right? Lion or lamb?
