Welcome to Artemis Base on Mars. Founded in 2068 by half a dozen corporations and nearly as many private sponsors it has grown to a thriving community of 2400 souls and counting. Law enforcement and security is handled by an independent Security **** funded by agreed upon taxes by all Members represented on the Council. While there has often been threats made by extremist organizations and individuals there have been no major attacks or emergencies since the founding thirty two years ago.
