Love Cruise
A (spoof) Dating Reality Show starts going off the rails...
Chapter 1 by BreaktheBar
Love Cruise took the world (at least outside of America) by storm as soon as it released - tapping into the popularity of British competition shows mixed with the wild and ridiculous antics of the old MTV classics like The Real World. As a parade of sexy singles joined the passengers on a Mega Yacht cruising the Mediterranean or Caribbean, only those who could make significant romantic connections would make it to the end of summer and the chance to win £50,000. With heavy input from the audience at home on which bikini-clad lady or muscle-strapped lad would get sent packing from the ship, Love Cruise spawned multiple spin-off series across the globe.
But after nine seasons, the polish has worn off a bit. The show still gets great numbers, but it isn't leading the summer programming every night of the week. One enigmatic billionaire, shrouded in mystery, made the production an offer that couldn't be refused - he bought the entire thing. He bought the rights, he bought the brand, and he even bought the mega-yacht.
Now audiences have been told to expect something new. Something different, but familiar. The show has gone off the air and online to a streaming service where they can do what they want, when they want.
With the rules thrown overboard and opportunities abounding to refresh the Dating Show for a new type of audience, the only question left is... Love, or Money?

After being purchased by an enigmatic billionaire, Love Cruise is seeing a revival as the cash rewards for contestants become donation based - and in reality television just like in life, sex sells.
