Loryn's Adventures

Loryn slid the back of her arm across her forehead, wiping sweat off it. It was one of those busy cleaning Friday afternoons trying to get a grasp on things so most of the weekend could be spent doing more pleasant activities. Looking around Jennifer's, her eighteen year old daughter, bedroom? Busy was only a start.

Loryn sighed. "How can one person be so disorganized and filthy?" she wondered aloud. "Going to have to have another talk with that girl later."

She wasn't married. Never had been and, in fact, had raised Jennifer as a single mother ever since she was born. There was the occasional humoring thought, but the truth was she simply liked the single life too much to be tied down to one person the rest of her life. So a single mother she chose to be. And now, eighteen years later at 36, it was never a regret.

Jennifer never even knew her father. Truth be known, Loryn had never been entirely certain herself. The circumstances of how she had gotten pregnant in itself wasn't a mystery. She had attended an orgy in college and...well, the timing of the pregnancy not long after didn't leave much to be wondered.

A few months later, her daughter was born. 18 years later, Jennifer had grown into a beautiful young woman herself. Even bearing a decent similarity to her mother, perhaps in more ways than one.

Jennifer knew an entirely different story, of course. What her daughter knew was her father had died before she was born. Her grandparents wanted no part of either of them. Sex positive or not, maybe some things were just best left in secret. Jennifer, eventually, had moved on from the subject. Much to Loryn's relief.

Loryn started grabbing junk out from underneath her daughter's bed and throwing it in the garbage sack in her other hand. As she did so, her hand landed on something interesting...
