Lancer's Solo Mission

My name is John...but never mind that just call me Lancer, EVERYBODY calls me Lancer. (I hate my real name anyways) About a few weeks ago i woke up with a reeeal wierd feeling. (Turns out I was floating over my bed) I found out that I inherited superpowers from my parents. (I couldnt talk to them about it because those two idiots left to "follow their dreams" or what ever the note said, I have not seen them in years)

I gave the decision a few days and decided to go the hero route (For now atleast) As much as I can figure my powers are mostly mental in nature, Technopathy, Telekinesis, Telepathy, and some Kinetic absorption (I can take a beating and give back twice more.) So far the only thing I have been doing though is stoping small time stuff, the Teen Titans have been takeing care of the biggy's. (At least until today that is.)

I was in the middle of the city watching the birds fly by when i heard explosions. i looked down and saw a girl dressed in gothic attire bieng chased by giant toy soilders dressed as british red coats "Now now love is tha any way ta behave!" Said a wierdly dressed man holding a cane rideing in a baloon. "Be a good lil bird and hold shtill fer old uncle Moddy!" The loon yelled. 'shit, this seems a little crazy' i thought to myself. "Oh well beats pummeling bank robbers." I say to myself as i plummet to the ground.

{BOOM!!!} I land in the middle of the toy army destroying a few of the giant soilders in the process "Corblimey!" The loon yells "Ooo the devil are you!?" He is getting angry it seems. "I was bored and thought I'd join the fun!" I say happily. "You ok?" I ask the goth girl. "I think so..who are you?" She asks as she runs up to me. "My name's Lancer, yours?" I ask as i split another soilder in half with my technopathy. "Um..Argent" She says with a slight blush. "Why is this reject from benny hill attacking you?" I ask in mid battle (We are being surrounded by the loons soliders, there seem to be no end to them) "Yahh...the Titans where attacked, Mad Mod and control freak teamed up, Wah!, they called for backup and I was In town!" She tells me as we are fighting back to back at this point.

"Mad Mod!?" I ask with a questioning look. "The loon on the flying boat over there!" she points to who I now know is Mad Mod.
