Kano sat in what he liked to call his "Throne Room." Despite the name, it wasn't some fancy hall in a big castle, though he did have an amazingly comfy chair for him to sit on. Kano's Throne Room was a pocket dimension that existed outside of time and space. It acted as his private sanctuary and his hub to hop between the various timelines he had at his disposal. The actual God-like power of time manipulation was incredible, and using it to make sure he never lost at anything was just fucking awesome. Still, Kano eventually got bored with continually winning. He'd subsequently make alternate timelines to give the thrill of a hard-earned victory. Not that living in a world where you had absolute success was terrible, Kano just wanted a challenge now and then. That's is why he held multiple timelines containing both options.

"So, what should I do today?" Kano asked himself. "Should I conquer the world or let it worship me? What do you think, bird?" Kano looked down at the only other occupant of his Throne Room.
