Kane Chronicles

My name is Tyler Kane, I have two younger siblings: Carter and Sadie Kane. You may have read their story but that's only a portion of what really happened. Now as from the story you know that Carter lives with our dad and Sadie lives with our mothers parents, but i bet your wondering where I live. Right? I live at the twenty-first Nome, in New York. Well let's start the story, okay?

Today is the day my siblings see me for the first time since our mother died, now on special occasions I wear clothing that prevents me from using my magic...but I know my father is planning something, something that could get him killed. So I decided to wear my linen clothes and I brought my magicians tools , I know it makes me look homeless, and I know my little sister will make fun of me well that's if they believe I am who I say I am.

Me and Amos (my uncle) make our way to Carter and Sadie, when I hear my name get called. "Tyler! You've grown so much!" my grandmother says

"Hey, Nana. Hey, Pops." I hug them

"Gran who's that?" Sadie asks

"Hey sis, look at you almost a woman!" I go for a hug but she backs away.

"Sadie this is your brother, Tyler. You probably don't remember him, but it looks like he remembers you." Nana says

"Even Carter doesn't dress like that." She scrunches her nose at the thin cotton shirt and pants. "Speak of the devil"

"Hey Sadie and... Sadie who is that?" Carter asks

"He claims to be our older brother, Tyler."

"Hey, Carter. Long time not see?" I punched his shoulder lightly

"What's up with the Scottish accent?" He asked

"Well when...it happened I moved off to Scotland for a while before moving to North America." I explained, pausing for a little bit.

"Tyler! Good to see you kiddo!" my dad exclaimed

I noticed that Amos came along so I walked towards him. "What are you doing here?"

"You haven't seen your family since your mother died, and today is the day you decide to go?" he asked

"Yes, because my father is planning something, something bi-" I cut myself off when I see him coming over

"Amos, what are doing here?" he asked Amos

"You know why, I think it's time Carter and Sadie found out." he said

I saw out of the corner of my eye Carter and Sadie hiding behind a bush. Quietly I left and snuck behind them, unnoticed. "Hear any good gossip?" I asked, getting Sadie to punch my nose.

Sadie clamped Carter's mouth shut before he could scream, "When did you get here?" she asked

"A few seconds ago." I say, holding my black duffle bag closely.

"Wait, why do you have a tool bag like my father's?" Carter asked

"First he's our father and second he didn't tell you did he?" by the confused look on his face I took that as a no. "Dammit! What is he doing?" I asked myself

"What do you mean?" he whispered

"We better get to the taxi." I said, changing the subject.
