Johnny's Mom

A few months ago I was just hanging out enjoying being free of highschool and 'taking my time to pick the right college for me' as I told my parents. I did live in their house after all. One night I was enjoying my evening playing some Rising Storm 2 as the southern forces. Match was going badly for us, we were losing points and tickets. Halfway through this new guy joined my squad and hopped on voice chat. I told him how the match was going and he just replied "Watch this". His voice sounded kinda familiar but I brushed it off.

Never in my life had I seen so beautiful a flamethrower. Half the enemy team was dead at any given time and this new guy topped the score board when the match ended. We won and congratulated each other heartily. Later, when I had had enough for the night I logged off and saw I had a friend invite. I almost dismissed it but thought what the hell, he seems cool, and hit accept.

We exchanged some more GGs and chatted a bit that night. The next day we talked a bit more and he told me his name. I couldn't believe it, it was old Johnny Fresner from highschool! I never really knew him but we did see each other around every now and then before we graduated. Turns out he was mooching off his parents just like I was. Said his dad worked outside the country a lot but his mom handled the house alone pretty well.

I remembered seeing his mother here and there during school. Blond, pretty, wore a lot of big sweaters and long skirts.
