Job Applicant

I have a pretty good job. I work at for a national magazine, and I'm in charge of the staff writers. I won't say exactly which magazine I work for, but it's one of those that always features celebrities or beautiful women on the front cover, like US Weekly or People.

Our offices are in a large building downtown, and we're lucky because we're on the fifth floor and we get a great view of the city and the skyline. My office is fairly big and has a nice window.

One day, I was working on an important project for my supervisor. I have a good working relationship with her - she's younger than me, but very professional and competent.

Anyway, as I was working on this project, I heard a knock at the door. We have one secretary, but she's often busy so people usually just show up at my door and knock. I wasn't expecting anyone, but it could be my supervisor.
