Innocence’s of the cheating wife

leaning against the kitchen counter, hands on hips, "Hey, hon! How was your day?" Claire asks Jack as he walks in the door from work. He drops his bag and gives her a quick kiss on the cheek before answering.

"It was long, but I'm home now. What about you? How's my favorite wife doing today?" He says smiling slightly at the endearment.

She smiles warmly then replies, "I'm doing great, thanks for asking. I finished all the laundry and started dinner. Your favorite, by the way." She winking at Jack as she gestures to the pot of simmering pasta on the stove. Jack's eyes light up and he heads straight for her, wrapping his arms around her waist from behind.

"Mmm, you know just what to do to make me happy," he whispers in her ear before nuzzling it gently.

leaning into Jack's embrace, Claire says "Oh, and I have some news to share with you. I got a new job today." Jack's arms tighten around her slightly in surprise.

"What? That's great! Congratulations!" he exclaims, pulling back to look at her face. Claire takes a deep breath before continuing,

"It's...at Tyreal Industries." *Jack's expression darkens slightly at the mention of the company.

"Tyreal Industries? You know how I feel about that guy, Tyreal. He's always been a sleaze, and his company is just as shady." Claire nods sympathetically, but her expression remains calm.

"I know you don't like him, Jack, but the job pays really well. And to be honest, I'm not going to let my personal feelings get in the way of providing for us." she says firmly, "Plus, it's not like I'll be working directly with Tyreal himself. It'll be okay."
