Collin stopped and tried to count to ten. His younger sister was a clinical psychologist, and while it was unethical for her to see him in a professional setting, he once asked her for some basic tips and tricks. One thing she would have suggested to anyone and everyone is that people tend to over-emphasize the negative and ignore the positive. Thus, in moments of stress or frustration, it can be helpful to remind oneself about the good things in their life. And Collin Carhart had several good things in his life.

He had a successful business developing software for agricultural co-ops with clients from California to Iowa to Florida. It wasn't flashy. He wasn't a billionaire; he wasn't going to be the next Zuckerberg. But it was dependable. The company made consistent profits and he was able to support a family and employ a number of people and they were able to support their families.

He had four lovely and talented children. Victoria had just moved back after a year of backpacking in Europe and teaching English in France. She was planning on going to law school next year. Melissa, the middle child, was a wonderful artist. Yes, she just dropped out of college and was back home as she considered her next steps, and Collin... was okay with that. It was important for him to keep telling himself that. It was fine. Sure, when he was Melissa's age, he had started his company and had two children, but it was okay. She could take some time and find herself, whatever that meant. And then there were the twins, Aiden and Kayla. Aiden, his only son, was quiet and introspective and had good head on his shoulders. And somewhat surprisingly, towered over everyone else. He was 6'7, more than half a foot taller than his father, but he was a gentle giant. He played high school football his first two years, but gave it up after a minor knee injury gave him an excuse. He didn't like hurting people. Kayla, the youngest of everyone, liked attention. Sometimes that meant acting out, sometime that meant excelling. She got a 4.0 in her senior year, and was the best golfer on the girl's team. But, she was suspended for weeks for bringing beer onto campus her junior year. Both Kayla and Aiden had just finished their freshman year of college at a local state school and staying with him for the duration.

And he had his lovely wife. His second wife. Heather, his ex, had some sort of mid-life crisis and divorced him and dumped the kids off with him, and ran off to LA to be an artist. Collin tried not to think about her. She wanted her own life, she could have it. But only a few years after, he had started dating one of his employees, and now Illeana was a great step-mom to his children. Sure, she was barely a decade older than Victoria. But, he loved her, she loved him, and none of the kids seemed to despise her, so he marked it up as a win. It wasn't like she was a trophy wife or anything, she was a decade a younger than him, he just had his kids young! She was no nonsense, and a real asset to the business, and above it all, she really saved him when he was in a dark place.

He had a nice car that he liked. His kids had cars. The house he bought twenty years ago was expensive then but now seemed like the best investment he ever made. He was a member of a country club, and in the last year he had really improved his short game.

There was all-in-all, lots of things in his life to be happy about. He kept trying to remind himself that while some guy was making out with his youngest daughter at the dinner table. Her new boyfriend, Danny, was also 19, and like a lot of 19 year old guys with a new girlfriend, seemed to have no sense of impropriety. He probably should have realized that it wasn't a great idea to be kissing her neck or whispering into her ear like that in front of her dad or her brother. Especially since Danny was such a scrawny runt. 5'5, maybe 5'6. Skinny as bean-pole and kind of a pretty boy, with soft features. To avoid saying something he'd regret and starting a fight, he went into the kitchen to help his wife.

Upon his entrance into the kitchen, Illeana immediately said to him , "Hey, go back, we're nearly ready, and I don't want your help. This is YOUR birthday dinner, and you shouldn't have to serve it."

"There may not be a birthday dinner because if I stay in there, I may kill that kid," he said.

"Oh, come on, its cute, they're teenagers and they're in love. There are worse things in the world."

Collins harrumphed, "Wasn't it just six months ago that she came to us with tears in her eyes, confessing that she was into girls? What happened to her little girlfriend? Samantha? Billie? What was her name? What happened to that?"

Illeana shrugged as she picked up the platter full of garlic bread, "She's a teenager and its 2024. Kids these days, they try out identities and change and go through phases at the drop of a hat. I'm sure in six months, there will be a new guy or gal, and we won't remember this one's name either. I'm just glad that she stopped dyeing her hair." On that, Collin could agree. Kayla, Aiden and Victoria took after him with sunny, caramel blonde hair. Melissa had red hair like her mother. Kayla's last phase of dyeing her hair raven black didn't seem to do any permanent damage to her hair.

"Well, I still don't like him," Collin pouted.

Illeana rolled her eyes, "Well, keep that to yourself. You wanna drive her into Danny's arms, just let her know that you don't like him. If you're gonna bother me, you might as well grab the salad, because we're about to begin."

Collin gave a toast, thanking his wife, thanking his children for joining him. He tried to ignore that Danny's hand was on Kayla's knee through the entire toast. Illeana and he decided to let Kayla and Aiden to have a glass of wine each for the special occasion, and Illeana even graciously served Danny a glass as well. Victoria and Melissa, both of whom were of age, were free to imbibe what they wanted. Illeana had prepared a pasta puttanesca with garlic steak bites, a favorite of Collin's.

"Aiden, why isn't uh, Emma here?" Collin asked, trying to keep his eyes away from his youngest daughter. Perhaps there was a bit of passive-agressive note there, as Collin had met Aiden's long-time girlfriend several times and liked the sensible young woman.

"She has to work most nights, and Friday nights are busy for her job, so she couldn't get out of it," Aiden said through a mouthful of pasta.

"She couldn't get someone to cover her shift?" Melissa popped in with a question.

Aiden bobbed his head, and thought for a second, swallowing the pasta to buy for time. "Well, she wanted to be here, but well, Fridays are the busiest nights, so that's also the night where they make the most tips. Sorry, I know, but she needs to make money, her parents aren't paying her way like..."

Collin raised a hand, "Its fine, I wouldn't have wanted to forego the hours back when I was a broke college kid either. Is she working at that dumpling place on E street?" Aiden didn't answer. Collin looked up from his steak and followed his son's gaze who was staring at Victoria. Her mouth was agape, and she was staring down at something below the table on her side. Collin leaned over and looked below the table, and saw Danny's hand.

Up! Kayla's! Skirt! He was just flagrantly fingering Collin's daughter at the dinner table! He was barely trying to hide it! Collin stood up, and threw his cloth napkin into his plate. Everyone turned to look at him. "Excuse me, what the HELL--"

With his free hand, Danny snapped his fingers twice, "Hey, sit down, daddy-o."

Suddenly, Collin's legs gave out beneath him and he slumped back into the chair. As much as he wanted to, he couldn't seem to will them back into standing.

Aiden stood up as well, trying to figure out what was going on. Danny snapped his fingers twice, pointing at Aiden. "Hey, big boy, sit back down. Everybody, Kayla's got an announcement to make."

"Right now?" she asked, breathily. Collin, still straining to get back up, was relieved to see that Danny had removed his hand from his daughter's private parts. Danny nodded to her with a little smirk. Collin hated the pretty boy's smirk and his long black hair, right there and then. "Okay, everyone, Danny and I have been talking, and we're in love, so we decided that... he's gonna move in here!" She said gleefully.

A look of confusion fell over everyone's face.

"Kayla, you could decide to get your own place together, you're an adult now," Victoria began, "But you can't just decide that your boyfriend is going to unilaterally--"

Another two snaps of his fingers, "Tori, shut the fuck up." Victoria, who never went by Tori, shut the fuck up. Danny snapped his fingers twice again, "Everybody, I've got nowhere else to go, and you would all feel just awful if you tried to kick me out. You just need to accept it that I live here now. And there's no reason an adult like my babygirl here shouldn't have her boyfriend in her room."

"We're gonna go up to our room now," Danny continued, and snapped his fingers twice, "You, daddy-o and big boy, can move again in half an hour. Just promise that you won't try to hurt me. Everybody else, just go about your business. Enjoy your evening. Lovely meal, by the way, silly bitch."

And with that, Danny exited the room with hand on Kayla's ass. And Illeana, Melissa and Victoria went on eating. Both Aiden and Collin strained and strained, trying to stand up, but they just couldn't do it. Collin fumed while he waited for a half hour to pass. Aiden ate a few bites of the pasta.

Aiden wouldn't say anything. Far too embarrassing to say to anyone. But the feeling of powerlessness, straining to stand and unable to do it? His dick had never been harder.

What happens that night?
