I Can Boost Heroines Just By Touching Them!!?

Chapter 1 by ARGORI ARGORI

Izuku Midoriya was eighteen years old, with a mop of green hair that no comb on the planet had ever managed to tame, and a job that summed up with painful precision everything his life had become. He walked other people's dogs through the streets of Musutafu while three leashes shredded his wrists, and he did it every afternoon with the dignity of a hero fallen from grace.

"Pochi, that's a gum wrapper, not food," he said, tugging gently on the shiba inu's leash. "I'll explain this one more time so we're clear: stuff that shines on the ground in this city is almost never nutritious and almost always lands you at the vet."

Pochi ignored him completely, true to his nature.

To his left, Brutus pulled with the strength of a small tractor, a mastiff with the face of someone plotting something shady against the entire human race. Between his legs, tangled up as always, a poodle named Fifi was busy with her favorite pastime, which consisted of tripping him and observing the result with an interest far too scientific to be canine.

"And you, Fifi, are basically a furball full of evil," Izuku muttered, catching his balance at the last second. "Someday they're gonna write a study about you, you tiny beast."

All of it was the fault of his Quirk, which went by the most promising and most deceitful name in the national registry: Training.

When it manifested, Izuku celebrated like crazy. A Quirk called Training could only mean one thing: muscles on top of muscles until he became a legend with his name chanted by crowds. Reality took a few months to sit him down hard in the chair of disappointment. It didn't matter how many weights he lifted or how many disgusting protein shakes he choked down, his body kept responding just like any other scrawny kid with too much hope on his shoulders.

After a long and depressing investigation, he reached the conclusion that it had brought him right here. His Quirk was good for training dogs. He could get Mrs. Tanaka's corgi to sit most of the time and Mr. Hino's bulldog to stop chasing mailmen, which earned him the unofficial title of dog whisperer with delusions of grandeur.

"The hero career of your dreams, Midoriya," he said to himself, dodging a lamppost while Brutus decided to change course without warning. "From saving the world to picking up premium turds. A flawless promotion."

That was when the city decided to remind him just how far he was from being a hero.

A roar shook the asphalt and bounced between the buildings. The three dogs went nuts instantly, barking at the same spot, and people started running in every direction. Someone slammed into Izuku's shoulder without bothering to apologize.

"It's a villain! He's tearing up the station!" a woman yelled, dragging a child by the hand.

Izuku looked up, and almost had a heart attack. A man the size of a three story building, with skin as thick as a rhino's, was ripping the train tracks out of the ground.

"Okay, you don't see that every day," Izuku said under his breath, not moving while everyone around him fled. "Where's a hero when you need one?"

"Look! It's a new hero!" a man exclaimed, phone already raised high.

Izuku spotted her before the rest of the world did. A colossal woman in purple spandex, with ivory horns and a blonde mane rippling on the way down, dropped with one leg leading, and her beige heeled boot slammed dead into the villain's jaw.

Izuku's eyes traveled up from the boot to the curve of the thigh wrapped in purple. The hip twist she used to deliver the kick was what finally broke his composure.

The hero landed and the asphalt cracked beneath her heels. She rose to her full height, chin lifted high, a smile ready for the cameras.

"My debut day and I'm already taking out the trash on these streets!" Her voice boomed over the chaos. "A little wave for my new fans!"

She winked at the crowd and a dozen flashes immortalized the moment. Izuku felt the air leave his lungs all at once.

I need that power in my life, he thought, and it was the most sincere prayer he'd ever uttered: a presence capable of cracking asphalt with a heel and smiling at the same time.

The fight, if it even deserved the word, was over in seconds. With the villain already dazed on the ground, the hero used her size to flip him over with an almost lazy shove. A perfect debut.

Perfection, unfortunately, didn't last long.

While the new hero, already christened by the crowd as Mt. Lady, posed for another round of photos, a damaged stretch of track finally gave way. An entire section collapsed, and she, caught mid pose, turned and slipped on the loose debris, losing her balance completely.

Izuku watched her stagger backward, arms flailing. She was about to fall into the evacuated zone, where, through a chain of cosmic bad luck, the only living being present was, of course, a dog walker with his feet glued to the ground.

Izuku had no clue whether it was good luck or bad luck that a sexy, giant ass was hurtling straight toward him. His brain reached a conclusion at an indecent speed.

This is, without a shadow of a doubt, the most epic way to die that exists, he thought serenely. Crushed by a colossal ass on a hero's debut day. No funeral in the world is gonna be able to compete with this level of glory.

He closed his eyes and braced for sweet oblivion.

The impact didn't come the way he expected.

As she fell, Mt. Lady started shrinking. Her Quirk, probably triggered by panic, switched off, and within seconds she went from skyscraper to woman of normal size. The problem was that the spot where she was going to land didn't move an inch. Her exact landing zone was still Izuku's face.

The last thing he saw before the world turned into darkness and softness was a pair of round cheeks, wrapped in purple spandex, growing larger in his field of view.

The impact was soft and, as uncomfortable as it was to admit, strangely pleasant. His head bounced against something firm and elastic at the same time, and for one glorious instant the entire world shrank down to the most comfortable sensation he'd ever known, with a scent of fresh strawberries floating above it all.

And then he felt it. A current of warm energy ran across his face, passed through his Quirk, and flowed toward the woman sitting on top of him. He felt his power, his useless dog training Quirk, connect with her and do something.

He felt her cheeks become, in a way that was subtle and shameless at the same time, a little bigger and quite a bit firmer.

In that instant, Izuku discovered that his power wasn't only good for training dogs, and he thought, with a clarity he'd never experienced in his life, that he'd just reached the peak of his existence.

"Oh my god! Are you okay? I'm so sorry!" The voice, now at human volume and dangerously close, trembled with panic.

The light came back. With it came the best view Izuku would ever behold in his life. Yu Takeyama, in her normal form, was kneeling beside him, cheeks flushed and her purple eyes full of worry, while a strand of blonde hair fell across her forehead. She was so close he could have counted her eyelashes one by one.

Izuku, however, wasn't looking at her face. His eyes were locked on the part of her body that had just served as his pillow, and even under the spandex he could see the change.

"Hello? Can you hear me? Did I break something?" Yu pressed, waving a hand in front of his eyes.

"It's perfect," Izuku managed to get out.

"Perfect what?" Yu blinked, completely lost.

She stood up, and that was when she noticed it. She brought both hands to her butt and the confusion on her face shifted into horror.

"Wait, wait, wait! Why does it feel different?" She spun around trying to look at herself over her shoulder. "No, no, no! My suit's tighter than it was five minutes ago! That's not normal! What did you do to me, kid?"

"I upgraded it," Izuku replied.

"You upgraded it?" Yu froze for an instant before pointing at him with a trembling finger. "Who asked you to upgrade it?! I wanted the usual one! The one I know! The one I've been using for years without any last minute surprises!"

She touched her hips again with growing horror.

"Do you have any idea what it means for a professional hero to wake up with... with factory changes?! Today was my first day! My first day! I can't go out there wondering if my own suit's gonna give out before the villains do!"

"I think I know how to undo it," he said, with a calm that made Yu's hair stand on end.

"You do? Tell me right now! I'll do whatever it takes, I swear, anything." Yu took a step toward him, hands clasped together.

"I need you to turn around."

Yu went very still, narrowing her eyes.

"Turn around? For what exactly, kid?"

"It's to... readjust it?" Izuku improvised, putting on the most professional tone in his repertoire. "I have to apply the Quirk again, this time in reverse. It's a delicate procedure, so you're gonna have to trust the expert."

"You... expert?" Yu shot back, crossing her arms.

"Ahem... to be honest," Izuku said with a shrug. "I'm the closest thing to an expert you're gonna find on this street. Your other option is to show up like this at your first press conference and explain to the whole world why your butt got bigger. You decide, it's not my reputation on the line."

Yu glared at him for a long second, opening and closing her mouth without finding a decent comeback. Then she let out a breath, defeated by logic she hated with every fiber of her being.

"If this ends up on the news, I'll find you and bury you myself," she said, slowly turning until her back was to him. "Like this?"

"Like that's fine." Izuku raised his hand, and it shook a little.

Here we go, he thought. For the sake of science and my future career, let the record show that I'm doing this as a professional and not because I wanna feel that softness again.

SMACK!

Izuku's palm hit the spandex with a firmness that surprised both of them. In the instant of the strike he felt the same current as before, this time running in reverse, undoing the change he'd caused.

"Nngh!" The sound escaped Yu's throat before she could stop it, and she covered her mouth with both hands, red all the way to the tips of her ears. "Did you just... did you just spank me?!"

"How rude, I just saved your hero career," Izuku said. "The spank was a therapeutic side effect, almost unavoidable, I'd say."

"There's no such thing as a therapeutic spank!" she protested, whirling toward him with her face on fire.

And then she stopped. She felt herself again, this time carefully, and her eyes went wide.

"I-it went... it went back to normal," she murmured, twisting around again to check for herself. "It's exactly like before. How the hell is something like that even possible?"

Izuku still had his hand up, in a full triumphant pose.

"Wow, I'm surprised that actually worked."

Yu stared at him with her mouth half open, unable to find words. She parted her lips to say something and closed them again without managing it.

"Okay, I have a lot of questions, sorted from most to least urgent," she finally said. "They start with who the hell are you and end with what the hell was all of that."

"Nice to meet you, Izuku Midoriya, dog walker and apparently freshly promoted plastic surgeon," he answered, and suddenly remembered a detail. "Speaking of dogs..."

He looked around. The three leashes were on the ground, chewed up and snapped in half. Pochi, Brutus, and Fifi had used the chaos to pull off the cleanest escape in canine history, and there wasn't a trace of them left.

"Ah," Izuku said. "I'm getting fired."
