Girls in Bondage

Girls in Bondage

In a dystopian future, women fall prey to slavery

Chapter 1 by Joe Steel Joe Steel

This is a modified version of the BDSM Library story “ Girls in Bondage.” It is credited to an author who called themselves “kilogram” but more likely was a collaboration, since it has several writing styles. Between 1/2 and 2/3 of this is original to kilogram, so I make no claims on intellectual property. I present it here, cleaned up, in an effort to preserve it. BDSM Library is no longer an active site and may disappear without warning.

Some of the changes I’ve made are:

  1. I’ve changed some of the characters to men. The original story was almost entirely FF, and it got repetitive after a while.

  2. I’ve consolidated the stories. In the original, story elements from several stories were intermixed; each chapter was just added as it was completed, no matter what story was being told in the previous chapter.

  3. I’ve cut down on the descriptions of dressing up the slaves. At least one of the authors loved going on for paragraph after paragraph describing in detail how a given girl was being dressed or tied up. That got repetitive very quickly.

  4. I’ve slightly altered the conditions under which girls were enslaved, and created a mechanism for their eventual emancipation, as described in the background page.

  5. I’ve left out some of the stories; the original was almost a half-million words, far too long to rewrite completely. Readers are encouraged to seek out the original to get the whole thing. I’ve taken the bits I like and other readers may find that I’ve left out parts that they like.

This project is going to take a while to complete. Others should feel free to add branches of their own if they desire. If they are re-using parts of the original story, they may find that I also use that part of the original story, in modified form. The more, the merrier.

Introduction

The mechanical civilization of the mid-21st century collapsed when three factors made it unviable. First, humans used up the last of the petroleum reserves (aided in this by terrorist attacks that destroyed many of the existing reserves). Second, natural disasters and depletion used up the last of the rare-earth materials needed to make such things as high-density batteries and computer chips. Third, climate change had become so pronounced as to cause a backlash against the mechanical technologies that caused it.

The society that replaced the technological society was much simpler and more environmentally-friendly, though also more violent and decentralized. With neither petroleum products nor power-dense batteries, mechanical transportation ceased to exist. So did long-range communication, for the most part.

Before “the Fall,” however, human civilization had made a number of medical breakthroughs. Most diseases, including all venereal diseases, were eliminated. Contraception is near-universal and 100% effective; women have children only when they want to.

Cities survived but were much smaller, limited in size by the limited power available locally from the small fusion reactors which had been produced during the technological era and which could no longer be created. The walled cities dominated the area around them, creating a series of city-states that replaced all larger forms of government.

Muscle power has replaced mechanized power, and horses mechanized transport. With a return to muscle power came the return to slavery, though by the time of the story slavery has withered to just sex slavery. And that’s where we begin.

Let's start at the...
