Freeuse World

I come into the mansion I live in with my parents and head straight for my room. As I come in I see my father and his wife (my step mom) on the living room sofa snuggling up under a blanket. I run up out the living room, up the stairs and into my room before they can say anything to me. They like to start small talk often which I find useless, so I scurry away often leaving them wondering why.

When I enter my room I collapse on my bed and close my eyes. I let them rest for a bit before realizing that I have to get back up to get my laptop from my desk across the room. With a heavy groan I pull myself off my bed and receive my laptop before collapsing once more. I then get on my computer to look for some excitement.

I'm only 20, but I honestly don't use social media very much. I'm a book worm and hope to have library one day, but for now I just use digital books from the internet. Admittedly, I use the dark net more specifically to get books for free. I could buy the books but all my money comes from my parents because they're rich and supply all my money. They also monitor my bank account and if I use a card to buy a book they'd know. To anybody this would not be a bad thing, but if my parents found out I was interested in anything they'd obsess over it and shower me with gifts I don't need, which I hate. I think they do this because they think I'm a failure and they are right, but it's still annoying.

I connect to the dark net to look for the book All's Well by Mona Awad. Honestly, I have no interest in it, but my girlfriend wanted me to read it because she really liked it. I told her I'd read it so I will.

As I search for the novel I stumble upon a page called Wishing Well that peaks my interested. Typically I don't rummage around the dark web, but I don't want the book anyways and it can't hurt to look. The website asks me the question, :What is your wish?" when I enter.
