Exiled

My name is Andrew. I am a 28 year old man, who works for the mayor of the town I grew up. Well, I used to work for the mayor. Everything was perfectly great. When I was 18 i met the mayor, whose still unknown to the public then.

We always stumble with each other at the restaurant. So we became friends and talk about a lot of things.

I actually learned more about in life from him than the friends with the same age as mine.

1 year since we've met. He decides to enter the election. We didn't expect that he would win but he did.

His first term went so well. That when the next election comes, he won by a large margin. Life is still great until the first half of his second term.

I started to become greedy. So I steal from the funds of the public without the knowledge of the mayor. I rack up a lot of money, doing party here and there, secretly of course.

Then a snitch goes to the internet to reveal every corruption that I did. At first the mayor tried to be reasonable.

Till the snitch start making an additional things that I did, that I never do. The snitch told that, I was the one whose responsible for the destruction of cars in the parking lot, I was the one vandalizing the walls at the park, etc.

The Snitch managed to deceit the public that the mayor finally turned against me. I didnt have a chance to address those issues. The mayor exiled me from the town. but the thing is, the local news seems to side with the snitch from day 1 without even actually challenging him.

So I don't know if the mayor's on it or not but who knows? I am out of the town and I am never allowed to go back in 5 years.
