Delusions and Secrets

It has been 7 years that Dante and his girlfriend, Marian, have been together. The couple has experienced ups and downs in their relationship but has remained strong as more years pass.

They are high school sweethearts, and they are each other's first relationships. Their relationship started at the last years of their high school age and continues until now when both of them are college graduates and are now both working in their respective fields. Dante now working as an engineer in one of the largest companies in the country while Marian working as a healthcare professional and instructor at a prestigious university that has its own hospitals and laboratories.

The two are still living apart from each other, they are still with their parents and siblings, but every time they are both free, they meet as much as possible to compensate for the days they are apart from each other.

Just like today, while watching Netflix, Dante is lying his head on Marian's lap. They both are free today after almost two weeks of not seeing each other as Dante becomes busy with his engineering project while Marian is making the final examinations for her students at the end of the semester.

They are both enjoying their free time together, but both of their minds are thinking differently. They may be present physically but apart in mind. One thinks of delusions while one is keeping secrets, from each other.
