Danny Phantom

The basement lab was filled with the sound of the ghost portal humming. Occasional ghost screams could be heard from the constantly rotating green plasma field. The spacious room was lit up by the bright green light, lighting up even the most furthest corners. Three figures were standing in a circle in front of the giant device, communicating in a loud manner.

"You're not even going to apologize?" the young girl said in an upset tone. "You've been going out on your missions to search for who knows what for the past month. I hope you haven't forgotten that you have responsibility back in the real world as well."

"Look, you know how important it is for me to search for these relics. We can't have ghosts pouring into our world at such alarming rate." Danny replied with a hard tone, trying to get the girl to understand the importance of his ventures. "If we I could only get a few of them, that would be enough to ward off any lesser creatures from making their way here." Danny clenched his fist and looked at the portal. "I can't be wasting my time here when so much is at stake."

"I didn't realize our relationship was a waste of time for you." Sam crossed her arms and walked a few steps back.

"Come on Sam, don't start now. You know this is bigger than us. When I'm back we can sort this mess out." The white haired boy turned to the glowing portal, preparing himself to jump. "Take care of things here, Tucker." Danny nodded to his friend and quickly vanished inside the green plasma field.

"Do whatever you like." Sam murmured to herself and both of them left the basement.
